indagroove...Did you happen to add this to the ROM...

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=621146

That's the Menu fix I had mentioned in the thread..which 6.5.3 ROM works best with SPB. (Even if it is not 6.5.3, loading MS 3.5.3 broke the menu on my stock ROM with Sprint)

Changed the reg, and it works fine.

There is a cab....

Sorry if you thought that was for you. That was just a general question for indagroove if he put that in his ROM.

No, I don't like HTC Menu Enhancement.

The SPB Widget doesn't seem to have a compose new text option as far as I can tell. You can do one of two things:

1. Change the default action of the widget: tap and hold the sms icon on the home screen, select default action, choose open messaging client.

2. start, text, menu, new, text message

Attached is the widget pack I'm using now. This works best on a fresh install of MS and no other widget add-ons installed. First install the certs, then the Mobile Sense...darkness cab if you want to switch between Manila and MS.
This theme looks just like Android/Hero----

These are just widgets added to MS to look like Android, so it functions just like MS. I found Mobile Sense at a French site and it is free for all, so this is by no means anything that I've created....but enjoy. If you like MS you will NOT be dissapointed with this add-on.

After a few HResets, I've isolated the problem to be a conflict with the Touch Pro2 Cleanup by GoodThings2Life cab
