Don't know...I have been a MS user since on my mogul, then touch pro...and now TP2. I also have the MH widgets installed which allow me to get just about everything on one screen.

I'll let you know if this rom seems any faster.

I'd be willing to switch to Mobile Shell if full-screen weather animation was possible like Manila.

Ok I am guessing that you have a Program Files\SPB Mobile Shell folder then, usually when cooking in MS it stores everything in windows folder and this causes issues as theme's are cabbed to go to the Program Files folder.

I have my OEM setup the same way the official cab from SPB is, so everything should work the same as if you installed the cab.
