jstine,

I think I isolated the "end key/long press vibrating and not opening shutxp" issue on v4.1. It only happens when I select the verizon provisioning. If I hit the close button, then when I press the button shutxp pops up as expected. Every time I select verizon and soft reset I get a buzz but no shutxp. I'm not sure what you can do about it, just reporting.

Sorry to be such a pain. Normally, I can't find anything wrong with your ROMs. This doesn't mean I'm not going to enjoy the good with this release.

If there are any other VZW users out there, please confirm the shutxp issue for me.

Played with file explorer trying to get the freeze for 5 mins. Didn't happen, strange! e-Reader does freeze at time, no reason. No other problems.

I don't understand what you mean "I think I isolated the "end key/long press vibrating and not opening shutxp" " this version of shutxp is done by holding the power button for 3 seconds, not the end key.

On the verizon phones the end button is the power button. I've always used the end button to activate shutxp on your roms. After I run the verizon provisioning cab it only vibrates when I "long" press it. This has not happened on any previous version except maybe v4.

Ok, understand now. Not sure what changed, almost everything is the same as V3.2. Just added the new manila:scratch:

My file explorer does the same thing, If file explorer is in showcase and you end all programs, it freezes the phone sometimes.

The problem might be eNative Showcase. The next release will have ArkSwitch again. Xtask was to much of a pain to launch.

I noticed alot of my programs are closing when i press the x button now, is that from Xtask? Showcase and arkswitch both are buggy to me, Im starting to just use taskmanager.

Could be the answer why the phone is having random freezes. I will look at removing all other task manager's and see if that help?

I can deal with it... pm your other beta testers and get them to install showcase or arkswitch and see if they get the same freezeups. The thing I hate is I try to use newer programs but alot of my cabs are older ones... but sometimes, really after you flash, and you know its a new build, your cabs might not work. Not a big deal, but I have had pocketRAR freeze up some of my roms, cause its an old program. THe reason why I know its this program, cause after installing it and doing a soft reset, sometimes the phone wont boot up past the sms patch screen, but you can go into the start menu and remove programs and perform another soft reset. Then the phone boots up fine, so you know it was the cab that you just uninstalled that kept the phone from booting up, or freeze up. Task manager is alright to use, and I NEVER have a problem with it, I just wish when you open it the applications list is displayed first. Instead of processes.
