What cell service was sending you a message. I notice some, like Cricket have been very bad with delays. Try sending one to yourself.

i installed i believe either santods or rtwoods or bigadnads clock it was the red wonton clock, like i said i didnt have a problem until i installed the clock last night. what i shouldve doen before hard resetting is soft reset, and try to boot up without the sd card in the phone, i seen with other roms, the sd card would mess the phone up for some reason, but ive ran the rom all day WITHOUT installing the clock and with my sd card in the phone all day today and didnt have a problem. just flashed all carrier v1.4 and thought I'd give you a status (call is a flash log)

No errors on flash
soft reset select VZW
verify WM volume control
turn off vibrate
lock up going into Manilla settings tab/security
soft reset (button)
no lock up with Manilla settings tab/security???
sync with PC
sent sms OK (used phone to send balance update)
went into contact using manilla button
No response but I could go into programs and shutxp using buttons
reset using shutxp
back to contact (no freeze but couldn't send message, never tried from this menu before so I don't know if it's normal)
sent mms via album
no button to program keyboad favorites in settings/pesonal/buttons

I'm not sure if the phone actually locked up or was very slow. I seemed like the hard buttons worked but the touch screen didn't. (although I did reset using shutxp at one point). Normally, I'd do a hard reset and try again but since you've put up a 1.5 I'm going to try that!

For a last statement, for those reporting errors. Here's what I came up with. I purchased my phone 2 weeks ago from Sprint. Got home and within 1 hour I couldn't stand the Sprint 6.1 I had to flash to 6.5. Downloaded Calk Kitchen and flashed the first rom 23518. After the first flash I was getting errors and lockup's. Now this was from a unmodfied Rom from Calk's Kitchen. Reflashed same rom again, less errors and a only 1 lockup. Starting making the custom (Blue Mustang/Timberwolf) rom. Several flashed to test it step, no errors or lockup's. Ever since I flashed the phone for the third time, I don't get error's or lockup's like the one's being reported. So what am I trying to say, many of us jump from 1 rom to next made by different Chef's. I do believe we should not say a rom is unstable after just one flash. 1. Format your microsd card before flashing a new rom from a different chef. And flash or hard reset several times before saying this or that rom is unstable. :mrgreen:

I tried the v1.5b (28014). It just keeps getting worse. I'm not sure what is happening but it seems like it slows down/freezes every 10 minutes. I tried doing a hard reset but it didn't seem to help. I can't point to one particular thing that I did. SMS/MMS worked right away but it kept getting hung up on the home page, or between it and the start menu. Seems like similar issues to what was reported before. I had no issues like this with Timberwolf671. I only did a couple of soft resets in the week I had it on. So I'm either going back or possibly will try some of the others out there. I see there's a move to manilla 2011. Might check it out and see what the fuss is about. I'll be back though!

Generally good work on the ROMs. Keep it up and props.
