I think the problem lies in the HTC Message 2.1 Client. Will work on it.
You did not say sms or mms, so I will assume sms. :scratch:

dude having alot of freeze up issues with the texting and the dialer screen getting locked up and unable to hang up the call, i cant soft reset or turn off the phone so i have to either take the battery out or take the back cover off and stick the stylus in the reset hold. battery life is also a issue

Please tell me which of the 3 (actually 4) roms are u using? :( I changed the dialer in V1.1 to different dialer in version 1.2 and 1.3. I am using 1.3 with Maxmanila at this time and not having any the issues being report. Also, please tell me the carrier you are using. Important information to help find bugs, and where they are coming from.

Correction: Forget about stating what carrier. Didn't think about looking at your header for that information.

In V1.1 I was using 24 pp. Don't recall if I was getting any lockup's or not. Has anyone change their pp to 24 before flashing. In V1.2 all roms the pp is default to 16, maybe I need to change to 24 and try that to resolve issues random lockup's. Not getting the same bugs that some are reporting. Maybe it's because I have flashed every rom posted. Several months ago the SOP was to flash to Stock rom before flashing to a new rom. Then do a hard reset before using the phone on a daily basis. Just maybe, the bugs are coming from member's flashing from one to another... For those that are having random error's, would you please try a hard reset and report back if the bugs are still happening.

The best 23518 rom out! Hands down! Especially if you have Sprint because MMS works perfect!!!!!! Thanx Jstine671

Listen which one of these roms are u guys using for sprint. Becz like stated befor i love t he rom i just cant get back the freezes

I'm using v3 with maxmanila and haven't had any freezes whatsoever, the rom is perfect. The only issue with me is the theme, I feel I have to go out and get a mustang to use this rom. I'm probably gonna have to being that this is the only 2.5 rom i've tried that has everything working. BTW I don't see a donate button anywhere, I would like to show my appreciation for this rom.

Trying reading post #95. I think some issues may be what I stated in this post. Try a hard reset,but backup all data first. There is two ways to do a hard reset. The easy way, if your phone is working, go into the start menu and run the program called 'CleanRam'. This is the same as doing a hard reset. I am using on my phone the All Carrier Maxmanila 2.9 set for Sprint. Have not had any problems with the phone locking up, or a call causing the phone to freeze. All builds are the same, V1.1 = Maxmanila 2.a for Sprint Only. V1.2 No Max for Sprint Only. V1.2 All Carrier with No Max. V1.3 All Carrier with Max 2.9. What we are looking for is, are the members have problems with one carrier, like Verizon. Or all carriers on a certain rom. Once I start to see a pattern, then I will know where to start looking for the problem. So everone's feedback with detailed information is needed.](*,)

Thanks for you positive feedback. Feels good to hear that someone is not having any problems. As far as the need for a Mustang, all I can say is, I got one and you don't know what you are missing. Driving the Ford Mustang since 1994 and I put 265,000 miles before a major breakdown. Only minors repair (less $1000 repair cost) in all those miles. Driving a 2007 GT/CS now and loving every mile. I'm over 50 and still feel like a kid. My wife is sitting shaking her head (YES). I will never ask for donation for my rom's. What I have planned for the future, my wife and I rescue dogs and cats. 15 dog and untold about of stray cats at this time. I have plans to build a website with the each animals picture and story about how they arrived at our door step. Since the economy has turned bad, we are starting to see more people abandoning their animals since they can not afford to feed them. That website will be a non-profit organization and if anybody wants to donate, that's were the money will go. :headbang:=D>
