so far the 2.32wu is working pretty good with no battery drain. i'll keep testing.

+1 with better signal. I can vouch for it. Never used to get good signal at home. I get 3 bars now.

With the 2.32.00WU and newest Sprint PRI, I get a much more consistent Ev/HDR connection as well as MUCH improved call quality. I'm not sure if the PRI re-programs the data/vocoder settings or keeps them; it used to reset them to the network defaults. I checked and saw that my VOCODER settings were all set to EVRC-B; something Sprint's network has worked with in an unofficial capacity for years. There has been debate on whether the network ignores the phone's setting and forces EVRC, so perhaps even if the phones had been previously set to EVRC-B, the settings were ignored and this new PRI effectively implements EVRC-B. I'd rather it be EVRC-WB or some newer 4GV codec, as the TP2 can handle encoding/decoding them; this is apparent as the specs mention AMR-WB.

In any case, I am impressed.

look at your device info, what does it say? if you updated your prl, it should say pri version 2.20.003

I don't have the update. That's the problem. My PRI is 1.42_003.... and PRL 60663 on SPCS.

No, I'm running Energy ROM. I just d/l ed the SPCS 6.5 upgrade. I'm going to install that, then Energy ROM and see if it updates.

That did it. I guess I should have done the "flashdance" at least once.

I cannot update to the newest pri no matter what I do. I flashed danced back to 6.5 SPRINT stock, updated PRL to 60663 but my pri is stuck at 1.42_003. What am I doing wrong? Maybe I am missing a step because I know that a pri update is not an over the air update, atleast that was the case the last time I looked.

EDIT: oh lordy not sure how I got it done but its at 2.20_003 now. I flashed using the ppstpatch.exe as another option and whola!!!
