Hi Friends:

I want to reflash the Sprint-ROM (stock) and recently, I did the SIM-Unlock and updated the radio to 2.23.00WU from 1.96.00WF...here is my question...What will happen if I reflash RUU_Rhodium_W_Sprint_WWE_1.21.651.3_RS_1.96WF_NV_S PCS_1.42_0430_PRL60652_Ship.exe?

1. My TP2 will have again 1.96.00WF as the Radio version...Will I need to unlock & update the radio?

2. MY TP2 will have again 1.96.00WF as the Radio version and I will just need to update the radio to 2.23.00WU

Can you help me?

anytime you change the radio, you need to re-flash the 2.23.00wu.

ok guys i've been on 1.96.10 all day and the battery life is crazy. i didnt even make it through half the day, battery drain is twice as much as the 2.23
im gona try again tomorrow, anyone else noticed a difference in battery life ?

Any radio flash will stick until you either flash a new radio or flash a stock ROM w/ an included radio.

At what point did your security unlock fail? You were already HardSPL'd? I'm guessing flashing Oli's temporary 2.05.00 radio (Step 2) is where you got stuck, right? Try to be more specific when giving feedback to a developer...he can't read your mind and nobody else can really answer your questions...

It is if you reflashed the original stock VZW WM 6.1 package, as it contains that radio version.

Just try to security unlock again and if that succeeds flash this radio...good luck

ok guys i succesfully unlocked my sim but am having problems getting data on att ...any ideas or settings for sprint tp2,,

Is this really true? I did the

1.hspl unlock
2. Sim Unlock

when the releases first came out.

I can Flash ROMS "Mighty Mike" and do GSM Calls on ATT. My Radio under settings>system>devce informations says 2.05.00WV. The only thing that I did not do is the Super CID.

I am wanting to update the radio but do not want to mess it up. I do my GSM calls in manual mode...

unlocked with no problem on stock rom. flashed new verizon radio, using at&t prepaid with no problem . but phone has to be reset every few hours. simply becomes unusable does hold the signal tho. will try the 1.96.10

I tried 2.23.00 and it was dropping my calls a lot. Switched to 1.96.10 and working fine and picking up calls fairly quickly. I've been testing all the radios here including the ones in other posts and just trying to find a radio that will keep my signal here where I work (downtown). Right now the 1.96.10WU is working better than the stock Sprint radio and other radios posted for the CDMA devices. For those in Houston, TX this so far is it. Keep up the good work guys.

I can tell you 1 thing: after flashing VZW shipped ROM with higher radio and then flashing Sprint shipped ROM with lower radio,my phone bacame SUPER sloooooow,several freezes.
I dont remember,but I think radio remained from VZW even after flashing Sprint Shipped.
Just stick with 2.23 locked/unlocked.Thats the best IMO.

alright after flashing from the new verizon radio to the 1.96.10 my hourly freezing problem went away. can't say anything about battery life yet. but I did get better sprint signal with the verizon radio. at&t picks up about the same with both and didn't drop any calls
