yeah the sign up got shut down but the plan lives on

there are different versions but i have two separate lines 500 min each unlim text and data and picture mail

but what i really hate are the guys with these plans but they still somehow got sprint to add discounts!!!

Correction. It wasn't "abused", it was an opportunity many took is all. Sprint allowed people to take the plan despite not being employees. I did nothing that's labeled as abuse. Quite the opposite actually, I called and talked to Customer Service, explained that I wasn't an employee, but people seemed to be getting this plan anyway, and she signed me up. My dad and wife too. I mean...what's really wrong with taking the best option out there at the time?

Not exactly. It stands for Sprint Employee Referral Plan. As the name implies, it was for FRIENDS and Family of Sprint employees. I was referred by a friend who worked for Sprint. $30 a month gets you 500 minutes, unlimited nights and weekends after 7PM, unlimited text and data. All you needed to get this plan was any valid Sprint employee's email address. For a time they actually promoted this plan to the general public and accepted some fake email like "savings@sprintpcs.com". It was replaced by the Everything Plus Referral Plan, not as good a deal and harder to get.
