Not meaning to be a wise guy, but why is cooked in better? Is it faster? use less resources? Is there any proof of this? With sashimi it's no big deal to install the extra 2 cabs.

If it is something that you regularly upgrade it seems it may be better to not cook it in. (1.85 is just around the corner).

Thanks for the info.

There is always a difference between cab and OEM.Pluto_Co0kie is an example. You will notice the difference after flash (difference in a good way this time)

Sometimes its opposite (cab install works better then its OEM)

ive got a question, sort of unrelated. Is there any way to totally rid the HTC messaging client, now that im using SMS chat? Or does SMS Chat need the HTC client to work? If not, ide like to totally rid it, and I think it would speed up the rom even more.

If you are using a ROM that has not had HTC messaging removed already, the only way I've found is to use the Zenyee HTC Disable cab. However, the only negative I've found in using it is that it adds quite a bit of time to the soft reset process - maybe an extra minute or two. This is why I nearly always insist on using a ROM which has it stripped from the ROM itself (or possibly has Zenyee cooked in, I don't know). I'm sure that by now, you have seen that SMS-Chat will not send as long as HTC messaging is enabled.

Thanks Vin. That's good information. Just started using you ROM about 1 week ago - moved over from using Mr X and Mighty, both of whom I felt had no equal, however, you've proven that line of thinking wrong. Thanks for a GREAT ROM.

Re: 06/14/10 Plutonium_Co0kie is up! **VINdows Phone**

Hi Vin, thank you for the great rom, I have one question, how can I disable the default touch input? I have another input software, but everytime I boot the phone, touch input is set as default, this is really annoying, could you help me on this?
