OK, with all the previous info on what I was running as well as yesterday afternoon include the data usage on 3 episodes of Black Adder from Youtube (9 separate files) plus another for the Black Adder Holiday Special so figure about 2hrs of TV, additional 2min to 6min shorts on YouTube as well and about 1hr on Slacker radio as well as all the emails (LOTS) and Texts and as of 11PM last night which would have equaled about 40 continuous hours without an external power source and it was at 30% battery level at that point (approximating as 8AM was the approx start time, it was actually prior to 8AM but not exactly sure when - not very exacting I know LOL)

I then plugged it in as I was heading off to bed and wanted the battery up for in the AM in case I tested some ROMs this AM

That's awesome....What is your email set at? Is it exchange? Or is it set to check every 20 min. I don't think I've ever gone that long with that much data usage.

No exchange, not a corporate use device ...
1 outlook (home) no usage as no cable connection to avoid recharge
4 other email(gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc) set to 10min checks
Weather to 30min checks on 3 cities
all power/backlight settings default per ROM
nothing major installed, no reg edits or cabs/hacks for increased power or changes - everything as "stock" as possible to test the power with the 60662 PRL settings

Keep in mind that Detroit_doug got new TP2 with new battery in it

LOL this is true, 3 weeks old (at least 3 weeks in my hand) and my shop got the 2 of them in that day from distribution...

not at all sure if the battery is from a different/better or worse lot than others although Im certain the hardware in the case is the same other than radio, PRL, and I am on the Plutonium SPCS V1 ROM

Hmm....I'm on a brand new TP2 as well. Brand new battery too. My problem is I'm extremely anal when it comes to charging. I'm paranoid that the thing is going to go dead. Then I might not be able to meet my flashing addiction.

I changed ISC value to 3.
No phone call problems.
I will post battery meter screenshots with value 2 and 3 sometimes today

well rest easy on the thoughts of your battery life...
always had a good battery life with Vins ROM on my HTC Touch and dont doubt that it is/will be just as impressive on his TP2 ROMs as well

with my Touch and when I was working for one of the major casinos here in Vegas on days when computer issues were slow I would spend a considerable time down in the basement levels dealing with being in a roaming connection although I was right down on the strip itself as the signal was that bad and the battery would last a full shift plus long enough for a few hours at the club after work with some friends as well LOL

and 40 hours stock on a higher polling PRL with some higher refreshing rates on internet based apps it very nice indeed, so I wouldnt worry about it lasting for you

but to remember, the 60662 PRL Vin stated as having problems with him SIM card although its a T-Mo SIM if I remember correctly being used on Sprint, although that shouldnt matter there might be a couple underlying locks there causing the issue with that but thats a wholly different discussion than this in reference to battery life
