Re: Nov.28 Neodium (WM 6.5) & Plutonium (WM 6.5.5)

Hey Vin,

Thanks for all the hard work - I (we) really appreciate it.

I thought I would give you some feedback.

For some reason, the 2824x builds I have tried have never quite worked so well on my TP2 (with the caveat that I have not tried Nov.28 ). More often than not, I have had issues with battery life, and memory management has not been that great either.

I also tried I believe the 236xx edition of the Nov. 13 roms, and while battery life was stellar, sense was really choppy for me.

I am currently on your Nov.24th version of 29002. From the few days that I have had a chance to play around with it my impression is that this is one of your best roms. Battery life is _great_, memory management is decent, and Sense is about as smooth as I have seen it on _any_ rom - I have CHT 1.8.5 loaded and skinned and the phone is humming along quite well (PP=12.)

I know there's some sort of a contact bug that you can't get rid of with 29002 and 2019, but since I can't even tell what the bug is, I think I am going to hold on to this rom for a while.

Again, thanks for the work and time you put in.

I'll believe it when I see it. Not that I'm daring you to stop. I'd love to continue seeing Neo's coming down the pike. I'm running your latest Neo now. The only thing that would make it perfect is swype (I know, I know) and a more precise battery meter (not a big fan of the old school battery meter).

Of course, you've probably gotten countless "it'd be perfect if only _____ were included" messages. So, for now I'll just live it up while it keeps coming. :) I'm stuck with this TP2 for a while yet. I'd hate to piss off one of the only chef's who's still making ROMs for the TP2 that I like. ;)

So... uh... thanks for the great ROM(s). :)

I have tried to force myself to like 6.5.5 roms. Vin is great..it runs great, but honestly I keep in on for about 1 hour then go back to his Neo rom. Nov 26, downgrades back to 2014...I'm loving the 2016 very much from Oct 20. Anyway Vin, don't stop Neo...you have fans that really like that one too.

How does the Nov26Neodium ROM compare to the MaxSense? (which is said to be similar to Android), when used on a TP2
