vin, is there anyway you can remove the rss feed area from the home tab like NRG did?

I used to run Mighty, but it looked like he stopped development some time ago. Vin seems to work with the same goals, a nice clean fast rom without lots of flash, but Vin has continued development with newer versions of Sense and windows. All of Vins stuff is based on newer cores, and in my opinion is cleaner and faster than Mighty Mikes stuff.

My phone also runs great on CHT. As kirstein said, it all depends on your settings and how you run your apps.

In my experience, animations and bloat slow down your phone, regardless of which version of the ROM you install. I always reduce the number of home tabs to 5 or 6 max. Even with the CHT, I only use 6 - 8 quick links max, and only in one page. Almost all apps run out of my class 6 memory card (I'm not sure how much of a difference that makes, but seems to keep device memory at a decent level). There are many other individual idiosyncracies which affect performance (for better or worse).

Bottom line: I love cookies, but am willing to install them myself if Vin chooses to discontinue to cook the tasty morsels into his ROMs.

Standing-by, ready to flash!

Thats what Im trying to do ](*,)
The easiest way is to replace home tab package with 2012 and keep 2018 sense engine.

Don't ever buy a boot-leg screen protector... The one I had got, mess up. I went to pull it off ( some much glue ) and the whole face came off. F**K!! So I put it back together, cleaned it up AND NO TOUCH- FLO. Just hard keys work, just thought I'd share that with y'all. Get a new one Friday

Hey vin, if your going to do that, use the home tab from 2013 package. From my experience, that is the home tab package with the smoothest feel to it, especially when it comes to the weather animations and image crawl.

Also if at all possible use picture/photo tab from 2013. Off all the builds that I have played with the smoothest from you when it comes to this tab seem to be when you were cooking 2013.

by the way man, what happened to neodium no-cookie?? Your plutonium builds are just as fast as the old neodiums now, but I haven't seen a neodium with the new speed tweaks and the extra memory helps reduce sluggishness over-time.

I am currently using your 8-7 plutonium and noticed that you broke 9100 on the torus test for that build without any issues. You seemed to also have fixed the issue with Microsoft My-Phone that took forever upload text messages from their servers when restoring.

If not for the fact that this build was a cookie-rom (bad home tab performance) and that the photo/picture tabs seem to have real bad image crawl, I would have probably would put it up there on my list of builds to die for.

Here's hoping that you stay away from other phones and cook TP2 for at least another year. When you stop cooking, Im'a stop flashing.

Thanks again dude

Realized today I don't get the san Vindows known battery-life from 8-5 No-CHT that I got from past releases. Took it off the charger around 8:45... listened to HTC Music for 30 minutes... Used WiFi Router for 10-15 minutes.. Browsed the web for maybe an hour throughout the rest of the day until it died around 5:40. No calls, no text, no IMs... WWEEEIIRRRDDD!?!?

May go back to 7-24 has been my favorite.

See if battery life continues that way or if that was just a fluke. If a process got stuck, or if the local cell you were on was having problems, or if you were in a low signal area you could kill the battery really fast. Every now and then I'll go through a battery really fast, it's usually due to low signal strength in the area I'm in.
