Damn! Just may go back to v1. I don't think I had any real problems other than the facebook contacts not saving the picture back to my exchange contacts. It works on the stock sprint Rom.

Hey Vin, v4 com2 is running great still. since I have no power or heat since 11pm last night.. this rom is my gateway to outside world. lol. Also Battery life has improved as you mentioned. Great job.

something i've noticed on 2011 too is that now they have 'delete message' for the mail inbox in manila ... basically if i use that manila option, the mail gets removed from the phone's inbox, but will re-sync back into my phone's inbox the next sync cycle and i can only really delete it if i go into the WM inbox ... then the message won't come back and really got deleted ... basically the manila option doesnt work for short ... not sure if anyone else noticed that? i'm syncing 1-hr cycles.

My work around was to uncheck the email sync option in WMDC then to go to into the email advanced send recieve settings and select the keep messages on the server option.

i'm slightly confused ... why keep messages on the server? when i want to delete them?

i just went to advanced send receive settings on the email settings on the phone directly and it has 'delete messages from server' and 'move messages to server trash' ... i tried both and both seem to still bring back ... maybe i have to soft reset between switching options.

i just tried deleting a work/exchange email using manilla and it worked. synced with activesync afterwards and the email was gone.

vin... your V4 ROM Rocks!!! :headbang:

This ROM works flawlessly for my needs and syncs up with Sprint, wifi router, remote desktop, email, fb, Opera, messaging, Sprint TV/Nav etc... and with no lag!=D>

One noob question; does this 2011 ROM not use the accelorometer for pics and music tab anymore, the pics and music would float from side to side, but it doesn't seem to function that way anymore... Other than that I feel like I just upgraded to one bad a** phone! Thank you vin! :toothy10:

Accelorometer disabled in album and music tab by default settings of this new manila.I think I saw a post how to enable it in SsS ROM thread.

And yes I can tell for sure that the battery life is perfect now.I never expected such a good batty life from TF3d :)

Oh and in v3 (without contact editing function) I was able to send sms/mms from people tab,but no editing function.
After I added missing packages for editing,it broke the send text from people function.I'll try to fix it.

Did you ever get around to making a cab for the default task bar, and, if/when I install it, will it cause problems since the custom one is cooked in?

Mine has an option to keep them on the server.

The way I'm set up I can check email on the phone, but they won't be deleted off of the server until I download them on my PC. This does away with the need to sync email, and I don't run into the problems that causes.
