So is cookie on its way or should I just go ahead and flash this one? Whenever UPS calls me back so I can go pick up my phone. So reading some of these posts. Could the ROM be the reason why my active sync broke and will not reconnect??

Its your miniusb port/cable connection.
I fixed mine myself with needle and pliers to extend life for few more months lol

Hahaaaa!! Ok cool. Was skeptical about flashing with my new phone Im picking up today. The phone syncs when I connect as file transfer but not with active sync. Either way Im getting a new one and I cant wait to flash it!! Hopefully the new Pluto will be uploaded by the time I get to go pick it up!!

Edit: I get to pick it up after 7:30!! I cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!
