Are you in Washington or Abu Dhabi? Do you have GPS turned on?

Didn't work...oh well. I love the cell town triangulation, as I travel and it allows me to search my local vicinity without waiting for GPS. Why was Google Maps, and associated packages downgraded to begin with? This used to work on this ROM :disgust:

Good question. I am in DC (although the weather is not that much different lately). I have GPS turned off.

OK, I've been using the 6/28 Pluto all morning, and it seems as good as the previous one. I really don't notice any differences between the previous version. Maybe some of the weather animations run a little faster, but it's really hard to tell.

Problem is, the previous version worked so well it's hard to see any place to improve.

Odd that AGPS didn't kick in, but I bet if you turn GPS on it will work.
I've gotten into the habit of installing Google version 4.1.0 after flashing, and location works fine with or without GPS (at about 2000 meters accuracy without GPS, and about 10 meters with GPS.) I'm also on Sprint.

why is gps off? how did you think it would work?
