Re: 01/24/10 SPRINT NEODIUM_V1 is up! (SYS 21889 Sense UI 25)

hey vin just as an update, i was the one having problems with the bad flashes last night. i was using the mirror that was posted and downloading the uncompressed nbh file. anyways, long story short i tried flashing it about 5 or 6 times from 3 different downloads and i just couldn't get it. i figured i'd give it another shot today on my way to work and it finally came through. flashed a couple hours ago and it went perfect. no need to flash stock or anything, just the basic hard reset.

just wanted to say, helluva job on this one! this thing is FAST and thus far i haven't had a single issue which is odd because i typically stick with 2.1. you may have converted me lol

Vin this rom is tight, smooth and so far reliable, As far as upgrades, i really dont have any suggestions, i was thinking of adding my factory cabs back in like nascar and nfl live i use them quite frequently, i just dont want it to slow down any.

I am curious if anyone knows.. when you pull your apps from marketplace, is there a way to DL to storage card or DL and move to storage card, i have 6 apps and they seem to be using the storage and program space up on the main memory. thanks

Is there a start up sound we can use and where can i load it to?

Nice work. So far everything seems to be running smoothly on one full day use. Question; is the HTC messaging disabled or am I just missing something? If so, is their a cab to enable HTC messaging?

any way to make it xda uc compliant for the next build. It saves a lot of times between flashes. Thanks.

I dont know much about xda uc,but I can reprogramm existing runcc to install own cabs from any SD folder or from sd root..
all you need is to create txt doc with cab names and apply read only attributes to them.I know, its a p.i.t.a too lol

  • hmm Vin's communication had less options in Comm Manager, why is that?
  • also under Phone Options. how can we enable Call Barring and other options that are suppose to be in the CDMA Settings sections?
  • can you please build in the battery tweaks that you found?
  • build in the reg tweak for disable Sent SMS Notification?
  • build in HTc Wifi Router?
Thanks VIN for such a great rom.

XDA UC is probably hardest part...Its not going trough very well.
-sdma dialer options...complicated but I'll do my best
-wifi router with 2 more options in comm manager (int sharing and mobile router)
-facebook engine
-batty tweak (sms no send already in v1)
Anybody want to try T-Mob Telenav from Leo?
