nope. probably rom specific. it depends if the cook has a specific splash built in, if not, it doesn't overwrite with a new one

i've flashed form stock rom to Vin, and i get vin's splash. but when i flash to mightyrom impact, it still shows Vin's splash. then i flashed to energy, and it still shows vin's splash. so i flashed back to stock and got back the stock splash screen.

Decided to try the latest cookie 1.6.1 mod and its working great. Although many of us are aware of this mod, figured I would provide some information on it as well as confirm it works great on Vin's rom.

Here are a couple snapshots of the 3x3, 4x4, 5x4, and 5x5 homescreen and quicklinks (using CHT editor) as well as cabs for the latest cookie mods. last snapshot is the 5x5 two but 5x5 one looks the same as 5x4 one :) Also bg4all cab that works flawlessly with it. I started from scratch and added the various clock, slider, curtain mods just to be safe. Also, noticed that this cookie mod fixes the bouncy sense clock that tends to occur when sliding in/out the keyboard. Animations are adjustable from using CHT editor as well as several other options. Also there is a program icon to turn off weather animations. very cool. Hope this helps!

your splash is really the 2nd and 3rd screen. if you remember stock
1st. HTC touch Pro 2 with Rom info at bottom
2nd Sprint Splash
3rd green 6.1 screen
the one that he change is the 1st screen the one that not too many chefs change because you can go to the Service dept with that screen and they will not know the difference. but if you flash back to stock you will get it back but if you choose Vinn again it will change.
hope this helps

Yes, I am using Cookie HomeTab 1.6 and similar mods as you and all seems to be running smoothly here.

thanx to s2w for badass clear slider. bilbobrian tb, thanx also.
there ya go boys, enjoy.

weird... i'm running CDMA_BilboBrian_TaskBar_MightyEdit.cab but it doesn't load the battery icon for p.v5.
