Re: Jan.31.VINdows ROMs (Neo All in One update Radio 2.37 WV)

anyone else having problems scrolling up in threaded text messages? when i try to scroll up it just bounces back to the latest one so i cant read earlier tests. this is on the sense messaging not the regular windows mobile. ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling 2 different mms cabs as well as deleting previous messages and then receiving new ones to make sure it wasnt a problem with mms's i had received but that didnt work.

after a hard reset, and actually going back again to the jan 31 rom, i can confirm this problem exists. all i did was provision for sprint. no cab installs what so ever. hard reset, provision, send a lot of texts to test. ive read most of this thread so i dont think this has been reported before. please correct if im wrong.

KOKOMASTER, yes the sense messaging won't let you scroll up. hopefully, it'll be fixed next update.

Hi,
As far as removing stuff from rom for memeory,
PHM did little & it is valuable for editing.
Slacker is one of best apps,
So I dunno abot that, but cleaning folders was a good thing.

Anyway, I was away 2 give input, but for a cleaner rom,
we could save alot memory with removing some unnecessary files:
extra ringtones
extra themes
extra wallpapers
maybyoption to remove programs tab in "remove programs"
Mayby option 2 remove/replace startmenu cooked in, dunno how I just use a cab.
Anyway just suggestions for next time, I am satisfied with what I have now :)

Vin works hard to please as much as possible but it will never be perfect for everyone. You can do it before you flash using HtcRIE
[warning] Please read this before flash any official rom - xda-developers
I use it every flash to reduce scrolling through extra things I don't use for example ringtones\alarms\alerts I don't use; as well as, programs(including start menu icons ect) and extra theme stuff like Classic Blue files (if duplicated since I don't use) wallpapers and provisioning cabs. If you decide it is for you and have any questions feel free to pm me.

3 Attachment(s)
I use SPB so don't have an issue with scrolling on mms/sms. try this to see if it helps. if nothing else, it'll make your sms look wm7 style

load in order
sdk cert
threaded
astronout

those on SPB, plays quite well with embedded texting. no 3d client

I have this same problem with twitter. If I leave and go back to twitter I can scroll fine.. Have you tried that?
