what i didnt get about this rom is y it didnt come with an option to switch the XT9 to spanish. that is a must for me as i have friends that only or predominantly speak spanish and its what kicked me off this rom. that and the deformed start button and lack of flash.

Downloaded the full Blackout ROM. Running this ROM as a stripped WM6.1 with multiple SIP and IMEs (Chinese, Japanese, Korean). Having lots of fun adding and subtracting different software (dual booting with Android too).

For some reason the full ROM with Sense turned off and certain services and devices terminated runs better than the barebones Blackout ROM with the same edits and tweaks. Anyway a good ROM. Wish updates were still being cooked (strange I should want more cooking for a stripped down ROM, but...). Thanks for the ROM.

i know i'm a bit late, but i LOVE this rom, much thanks to Adrianh85, but i have one question...

i am a noob and all when it comes to these phones and custom ROMs, and have searched A LOT - haven't found any answers though, hope you guys can help:

1. how do i enable auto rotate, even when the KB is still in?

2. is there a way to fix the BG to stay the same as on the homescreen in the other tabs when in landscape mode?

look for gyrator 2 in the paperclip--i think it's in NRG

much appreciated, just tried it out and i don't know if i'm just too illiterate with it or what, but i can't get it to do what i want.

basically i just want the screen, upon startup, to auto rotate between portrait and landscape and to not cause me an issue with calls and not have to open the KB to get it to work.

that and for some reason there's a background that looks somewhat like a black and white dartboard whenever i open the keyboard to initiate landscape mode and go to different tabs, though it stays the same on the home screen.

here's the settings you need
gyrator 2
menu
options
check - hide window..........
sensor
sensitivity 100
polling 250 (lower number = more polling = more batti drain but faster response)


then........

menu
events
"disable (manila)" ......... tap and hold
edit event
orientation
check REVERSE LANDSCAPE (so portrait and reverse landscape checked)
apply
soft reset
