Any word on improved reception/signal strength? How about GPS? Working better, faster, no GPS lag in applications? If so is it possible to flash this new rom to get the updated radio and then flash back to say MM's war rom and still keep the updated radio?

aGPS and GPS are exactly the same no improvement nor disadvantages

I wonder if the new Bing will work on our phones properly now. As for not being posted on Verizon's or HTC's site, they're probably waiting to announce it for the weekend or early next week, or it's possible that it was put up in error and isn't supposed to actually be out yet.

If I flash this to get the newer radio, then go back to a custom rom, would that work? I'm on Sprint.

Verizon suck to though, that rom is dated November 17, 2009. They could of released this 2 months ago. T-mobiles has a date of December at least

This is from the upgrade procedure that is included in the download zip.

The upgrade performs the following improvements:
1) OS Upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5
2) Updated drivers to support Global VZ Navigator.
3) TouchFLO 3D Enhancements.

Congratulations! You have successfully upgraded your XV6875!

well i think ill use this for awhile. but im sure ill go back to mightyrom 010410...or maybe mightyrom void when he updates that...the only thing keeping me from the 28000 series is the X button only minimizing and not closing apps, but i think ive found a program that overlays that X button and closes apps out...

ill come back and write up a review comparing this to mightyrom 21887...

I just flashed back to the newer MM rom! Everything is extremly better. All of the bloatware is removed of course. The only thing this rom update from verizon has worthy is the radio update. Otherwise it isnt worth flashing at all not at least for the user who have their phone unlocked :O)

No, this won't work, it will error out. If you want the radio, just wait until someone extracts it and you can flash that radio without problems.
