I know some people don't like it, but the Google YouTube app works on this ROM. Never could get the HTC YouTube app to behave properly.

I was able to get it to work with the suggested minimum install CABs in post #1, but the graphics were missing and such so I had to install some other things. I think a couple of pages back Freeza gives the short list of what CABs you need to have it working. What is the specific issue you are seeing?

Here is a list of all the CABs I have installed with QuickGPS working:

why do you have 361 total storage and i have 213 and program you have 199 and i have 183?

A colleague of mine got Internet sharing working with this ROM. Ironically, all he did was get an older version of the Internet Sharing files, and copy them into the Windows directory using Total Commander. Presto! No hanging animation.

By the way -- I'm really impressed with this ROM. The only thing I'm still figuring out is getting the notification and phone settings to stick, without registry editing. When we hit "OK," the sounds/notifications and phone setting windows don't exit, and don't seem to like saving the settings. Nonetheless, lookin' good!

A quick update -- the fixes mentioned earlier in this thread still work fine. Just add a ringtone to the Ringtones folder and all sounds/notifications/phone settings should stick. Once again -- very impressed with speed and RAM availability (145 MB free with menu enhancements disabled) with this 6.1 ROM!

I still think the fastest way to access stuff is a combination of voice command, the old today screen and the old start menu, with comm manager checked in the menu options.

I'm seeing a lot of SOD threads lately, but haven't seen one yet on the TP2 with this particular ROM. Maybe I'll ask someone at work to accumulate lots and lots of SMS and e-mails, to see what happens...

To SOD your phone, Sleep it, go away on lunch, come back, wake it up. This ROM won't do it, as it seems to be a WM 6.5 drivers problem. Mr.X fixed it in the Verizon MR2 update where he fixed it from happening. Might be good for ALL chefs to take his advice on how to do that.

I tried installing that sense 2.5 cab not on this rom but on the sprint basics rom and while it was successful I couldn't get the twitter tab to work,many settings menus displayed a missing component error and couldn't login to the facebook without sense crashing which was unacceptable so I had to hard reset. now I have to get used to sense 2.1 again unless someone can tell me how to fix it
