what's the cab that when i plug the tp2 to my laptop, it ask me to make it a drive or activesync?

Please excuse the NOOB question...when this ROM is flashed the interface is going to be just like when I have TF3D turned off right? I'm currently using the stock Sprint ROM. I've looked around for exactly what comes with 6.1 Pro ONLY...I can't really find the answer I'm looking for though...

For the most part yes. However, it does have HTC specific drivers and services which you won't notice there. There are NO programs installed except what comes with WM6. The HTC Menu enhancement, g-sensor calibrator, tv out settings, and location setings are in Start>Settings though. TF3D is not included nor is any other commonly found HTC/Sprint program from stock ROM.

So how exactly do you install the USB2PC popup? is it just the cab? or just the reg? or do you need both? also how do you install the reg file?

You only need one. To do the registry import, you would need a registry editor. I would recommend the CAB as it just does all the work for you.

i'm having the hardest time finding the correct threaded messaging cab. i tried the arcsoft mms cab in your folder, but i doesn't seem to be threaded. i think that should be built into this rom since most people use it. just a suggestion. do u have a link for the cab?
