Interesting. I had a friend who had similar issues. His phone would even randomly hard-reset and also do the "won't pass the bootup screen" thing.

I had him re-flash with the latest hardspl (there have been updates) and it seems to have fixed them (it's been a week).

Keep me posted though.

this is definitely 100% the best rom i have tried to date for sprint phones.. you really understand a sprint users needs.. even landscape works perfectly unlike 99.9% of all the other rom i've used out there.. could someone point me to a working version of remote desktop mobile for this rom though? thats the only thing missing

Okay, had a breakthrough:

HTC Volume Control is now working in my beta ROM. This is pretty huge.

I also have Opera 10 Beta 2u working as well.

Here is the beta version. Everything else is the same. Please post any oddities. If all goes well, will update 1st post and make it official.

Awesome Rom Mal, great job! Now if we can just replace the HTC slide to answer with the default WM 6.5 Slide to answer it would be perfect :D

OK Mal, just flashed to the beta. Initial word - the volume slider is PERFECT!! Have not tried it for in-call volume yet as I'm just waiting for the second hard reset from clear storage, but initial testing looks great. Will let you know if anything changes - AWESOME!

EDIT: Cleared storage. In-call volume works PERFECT! Looks like we have a winner! Only thing I noticed initially is that if you try to increase or decrease volume too quickly after reset, it flashes back and forth between the WinMo control and the HTC control. Stops doing so once device fully booted and works great. Thanks!

ive had the same experience with all of mightyroms customs also. it would run good for maybe an hour then get stuck at the touch pro 2 screen or randomly keep looping..

downloading the latest unlocker and flashing back to sprint...relocking then unlocking with the new unlocker...then your beta rom.

just wondering if you can include battery icon at upper right corner as percentage instead of bars as in calkkulin Kitchen in your ROM. that would be more helpful to see battery drainage.
