Is there a way to turn off the wifi signal that pops up automatically on the taskbar? I accidentally selected "turn wifi on automatically" but for some reason it won't let me disable that option now that it's been activated.

Also, I just put on your 1.5b6 which I thought was your most recent 6.5 release, but my rom date says 8/13/09. Do I have an old one?

Ok cool. When I tried the 6.5.3 one I know it was correct, so I thought I'd be able to rely on it. Guess not haha. :D

Any advice on the wifi issue?

nm. i deleted all kinoma reg entries.. uninstalled.. reinstalled.. works now. not sure why.

click on " Comm Manager" to disable it.

Nope. Did you install any arcsoft cab? if so, which one? Search the thread for arcsoft cabs, Darren posted a couple that work well if you need one, or check the paperclip outside the thread for the cabs.
