I didn't even think about finding opera9.7. i will give that a try. As I stated, i do like this rom. Seems as though both of my issues have been addressed. the thanks button has been hit. Reflashing it now. :joker:

is there a task manager in this rom that lets me see what programs are currently running like the one that the original rom had on the top right corner that lists all running programs?

Yes, go to the home screen and click on the clock in the upper right hand corner of the screen. This will open the task manager. Hope that helps. It's also accessible in certain other screens, but you'll have to experiment a bit as I can't recall exactly which ones off the top of my head.

I believe that it was mentioned early in post that all you had to do was click up in the upper right corner and that it would bring up the running tasks/memory usage. hope this helps

Love the ROM well designed except the only thing I notice is that there is a noticeable lag when typing text messages that did not occur in other ROMS ive tried. Very much the same as the lag that plagued the Touch Pro 1. Overall the ROM is pretty decent speed but i wish it'd be a little bit faster (I even changed the pagepool to 32 to no avail). But other than the speed issue i love this ROM! :) But i just wish there was a very bare bones vanilla 6.5.3 ROM with just manilla 2.1 (or a cab to install it) and whatever else is needed for the phone to boot and run correctly. Something like the DCD ROM of the TP1/Mogul.

Malatesta is aware of the issue for text and email lag and the fix is in the next update (discussed earlier in the thread) which he said should be Monday. Other than the lag, I've not found a ROM quite this fast, and I've tried virtually all of them.

Thanks for the quick reply, actually you are right the ROM is pretty fast, its just this lag issue is bothering me i guess but this ROM is quite amazing i must admit. I'd still love to see a super fast DCD-like ROM super bare bones tho, itd be quite an experience with these new 6.5.3 builds.

Thanks for the response Mal. I tried doing this, but when I attempted to set one of the pics as the background I didn't see the option anywhere. Is there something I am missing?

You have to be in the Pictures and Video program the Albums program doesn't have this option
