I can not for the life of me get the data connection to work with sprint. Am I doing something wrong? I am just allowing it to load and nothing else. It never asks me what carrier I'm on and I'm not sure where to look for it. Sorry for stupid question/comments

goto windows/jmz folder and run the file or look for the sprint.cab in the windows directory.... sorry I missed a shortcut on that build... it's been updated in teh new one

most chefs have it ask what carier after flash, if not look in your folders.

It was meant to be in the Tools folder but..... stupid me made a typo

I did choose not to run it on boot like some others have done. Maybe in the future.

Mine too :) and Calkulin done a superb job with Sense 2.5. I was a Titanium fan until now.

This ROM will run @ 115+mb free with Titanium running though. That is pretty nice awell.

just flashed v3 and the extracting process has an error (windows cannot find the custom_RUU.exe ect...)
i just extracted the file manually to a new folder then flashed it that way

hard resetting and testing now

i love the black look to this rom ...one thing i noticed is my battery icon is still stock. i am on verizon if it makes any dif. ran jmz
-so far very fast. and responsive.
-no freeze/lock ups
-gps is not locking on google maps and gps tool
-data works super fast

try a soft reset. i noticed the same then after a soft reset it was the battery icon that was supposed to be there.

Just tried to turn on the bluetooth on the v3 download and tells me there is no bluetooth. Anyone else having this issue? I thought this was fixed in v3. Thanks.

Otherwise love the look, always liked the dark themes. I changed the pagepool to 30 instead of 16 and seems to be alot more responsive, took the pp from energyroms. Looking forward to the final release I think I might keep this one if you can get my bluetooth working...

Yeah just tells me there is no bluetooth stack. Hopefully he can get this fixed, I like the speed and looks also but I guess it is back to NRG for now.

I have another issue that just popped up, I keep getting a wifi icon on the taskbar but the wifi and wifi router are turned off in the comm manager.

couple things....

icon - look in the windows folder and execute the taskbar.cab that should fix the battery icon issue. Thats kind of weird though because mine is doing great

bluetooth - one of my last minute changes last night must of whacked the bt.... it was working and I would of never released the update knowing it quit working again.... sorry will correct as soon as I get a chance


gps - after update quickgps I can see sats but it has yet to lock... will report back when I have something more conclusive
