Big question

If I paid to have my phone work for metro pcs and they have to flash it. Will I lose everything if I flash max sense laster? Or do I have to have the metroflash ONLY.

It's just settings you have to enter, unless you put it in CAB form like the other carriers, or cook it in if you have a package. If your ESN is in their system and is working, you shouldn't need anything from them. The settings for metro pcs are in that thread I linked above.

yea but now their saying metro turned off all web data for custom flashed roms :(

Some people are saying it's still working though, so I don't know what to tell ya. I don't have metro pcs, so I can't test anything.

Great news Dibb...well i hope so...will maxsense be like the sprint only roms? I went with boost mobile and it works well with the sprint only roms by dailing ##somenumber#

There are boost settings (maybe cab too) around the forums for tp2's that you could use when you first flash a ROM to set it up.

yea but my MSID always changes when i flash...on the sprint version rooms if i enter the ##special number they gave me # i can edit the msid fine..but on this rom it doesnt work so i dont know how to edit them.

When you say "on this rom" at the end there, do you mean the max sense ROM? If so, I know why.


On a different note, does anyone want to see MH UC have the ability to start *.exe files? Thought about maybe doing that, and I have some more ideas that might change the whole layout and structure of MH UC to a certain degree.

yea dibbs..i mean max sense...because i dont know how to fix that.

and is it possible to have a widget that allows acess to the sd card for .exe files such as doom.exe ect.

Actually yes, and that's not a bad idea. I will add that to the list of things to do, and think about the best way to implement that as I don't really don't want to do a check list style like with the CABs. As far as Max Sense goes, it's because the carriers not cooked in like the Sprint specific ROMs. On the updated Max Sense, carriers will be cooked in like everything else. For now, you could look back in this thread a few pages back, and the link I gave someone else for ## dialer codes should work for you, just might have to install a CAB or two.
