hmm awkward... no i only played around with the lockscreen changer... nothing else at all...

maybe it does have to do with the page pool... im on a bell phone... what should the page pool be?

Well unfortunately I can't help you out with the exact pagepool of what a bell phone should be, we sprint users usually use 32mb, try 32 and if that doesn't work then try 24mb. you can use the pagepool program that comes with the rom to change your pagepool.

Anyone else having the Manila crash problem? Seems after a few days Manila will NOT load. It says "Launching HTC Sense...", but it never does. I have tried turning Manila off and back on still won't load. Only fix I have found is to hard reset, soft reset doesn't help either.

tb5, I was looking through diff threads found out that ususally for Bell pagepool is 24 that should do it As long this is ur 1st ROM u r flashing u shouldn't have problems changin tha pagepoll to 24. Now, that sounds that u may have installed something that does not go with 6.5.3.

Gastorf, ther are some dl's that are not compatible with this windows 6.5.3 like for instance the hew home lock, Max manila 2.6 and such These are not comaptible with this 6.5.3 since some of us have tried it and it gives us what u r having right now. Check what u have installed resently and remove it. Some dl's are nice but not compatible with some ROM builds. U have to wait until the the chefs will figure out with these new dl's. Hope this helps in some way.

Thanks GIZELLE, seems it was the ShowcaseSuite. What are my options as far as closing programs that are open? I know there is TaskManager, but not a big fan of that.

This ROM in particular, u don't need to do much cause is stable, fast, up to date. Remove all the extras. Opera is up todate , same as Myphone, Google maps and some other applications. you can check from XDA Developers Dusk Manila 2.5 thread. There are some applications that u can use (only some) I'm going to check another thread also in PPCGeeks that u can try. There is a nice task bar from Bilborian too. Let u jnow later.

For HTC Task manager, it still works, but there's a secret handshake to make it happen:

1) press on upper right corner of screen utill Windows Taskbar comes up (dropdown with horizontally arranged Titanium icons), then press again and hold for @ 2 seconds, let go and - bingo - HTC taskmanager dropdown menu will appear for you to close open programs. If 2 secs doesn't do it, try 3, but it will work (that's all I use to close programs).

For those of you you are having issues with the calculator not fitting on the screen..I downloaded and installed the attached cab...and it fixed it in both landscape and portrait mode
