Just incase anyone wants to know, installing the uncabbed manilla Nomessage update isn't so hard. You just have to drop all the files in your windows folder, and otherwise delete the one XML file and copy the others to Windows and ManillaXML. Only like 10 minutes work really.

all i'm doing is overwriting the existing files with these new versions. havent had any issues at all. its really not hard at all like u say, but it only takes like 2 minutes lol

Quick question. iContact is great for looking through your contacts quickly, but utter shit for editing them. Is there any quick way to assign ringtones. I've been getting to the All People list from the Favorites tab and setting it that way, but it takes quite a while and I have to do it every time I flash a new rom.

+1 this rom is outstanding. after adding the newest packages for PeopleMessagingClassic it is truly a great experience. i might play a little with the landscape mod, but honestly its awesome & has been working great since the day you released it.

i'm on the manila 2.5 build 23511. great work

Hey all... I've only run into one quirk with this rom.

On the messages tab and the e-mail tab, the contents seem to be up to high on the screen.

For instance. When I goto the messages tab, the persons name that sent it to me is covered by the "Messages" curtain and I'd have to actually select that message to see who sent it. The e-mail tab is similar but the e-mail previews are onto of the "Mail" curtain.

I don't remember it being like this when I first flashed to the rom.... maybe its a result of the Sense landscape cabs I installed.....

Just seeing if anyone else notices this or can check on thier non "landscaped" rom.

Yep it was that. It actually affected more stuff than I realized. I Lost the fancy weather stuff on the home screen. It actually didnt' show any weather stuff. Didn't even realize it till I just unistalled the landscape stuff. also, The mail preveiw on the Mail tab was actually quite a bit smaller as well as being raised up.

Guess I wait a while on the landscape stuff till they really get it hashed out!

Haha, Yeah, Oh well. Someones gotta try it right?

Whats your battery life like with this rom?? Mine seems to be quite a bit less than the previous one I had on there. Granted, that was 2.1. Don't know if 2.5 is just quite a bit more of a work horse and takes up more powa or not.

On a side note.. my buddy got the DROID phone the other day..... its pretty nice.............................................. ..... **starts looking up what TP's go for on ebay**

lol the droid is pretty nice. although its freekin heavy!!!!!!!! i couldn't believe it, i thought my touch pro was like a brick in my pocket because of the size. believe that the droid has gotta be very noticeable to carry around, especially in a pocket. the keyboard is pretty shiesty too, moto needs to take a few lessons from HTC in that regard. my $0.02 on that subject lol

but hey as far as battery life, have u ever updated your radio? are you using lumos at all? i've not noticed anything out of the ordinary, but like we talked about, i always make sure i have a updated radio.
