Has anyone tried the PPST2.01 cab for verizon to activate the GPS with this rom? I'm getting a problem that I got on another ROM previously - HTC sense is fine, but there are now streaking vertical lines on the start page that blur when you move the screen up and down.

Is PPST2.0.1 somehow not compatible with this rom? And if so, any other verizon users have luck with gps with this rom?

If you manually apply a background image it seems to fix the start menu issue.

Hey does anyone know how the HTC album program stays rotated at Landscape mode? I like how I can flick my finger up/down for photo browsing. Is there a reg tweak or cab? Just wondering how this is done.

No, it is much simpler than that. Just go to Settings/Home and check the use this picture as the background. It will promt you for an image file(or maybe you have to browse for a image first). In case you can't read the labels because of the error, the settings icon is a big gear and the home icon is a house.

ive done it in previous roms, it does cause battery life to be reduced. Go for it if you want, but be aware that you will drain the battery faster.

what's the best IM client that has a decent interface, can give notifications, saves chat history somewhere, and doesn't kill the battery life? I only need support for AIM and Google Talk.

QuickGPS doesn't work for me. I see that there are users over at xda that have the same problem. Maybe the 3 different versions i've tried are the wrong ones. I am getting a connection failed error. THe gps works fine otherwise, i just have to wait a couple minutes for it to lock on. Other roms when using quickgps are almost instant. any ideas?
