Using the latest ROM download I can't seem to type in a new SMS . It works when i do a reply to someone but new messages only allow me to put a TO and then the cursor never goes to the bottom to type a message.

I have to use the hard keyboard.
After adding the contacts hit the down arrow key and the cursor will move to the body of the message.

what dialer is cooked in this rom? I am trying to find a cab for it....anyone?

So, I did a PIM backup without all my txt's, flashed to stock, and reflashed to this rom, and messaging is at least usable now. Still slower than I'd like, but I know nfsfan will work it out.
NFSFAN- you appear to be on a constant search for a good task manager. I have used quickmenu since my mogul days, and will continue to do so. You might consider this. I'm currently using nanling's modded quickmenu from xda and am absolutely eternally happy with it.

when will that 1.06 be released this current rom is locking up on me like crazy im almost wanting to go back to the sprint 2.01 rom

I would say if we follow his last 5 rom updates, no offense but at least 3 weeks :).

I have had absolutely no issues with this ROM in comparison to previous versions or any other ROM I have used, stock or otherwise. I have used the "Flash Dance" routine as a prerequisite to loading a new ROM. I believe that is the reason I do not experience the lockups that have been reported. I have added taskbars, colored icons and transparencies with great success. I find it hard to believe that NFSFAN can enhance a ROM that will out perform his last, at least on my TP.

Agreed. I have absolutely zero problems with this Rom. Best battery life of any of his roms EVER!!
