im not sure what you are talking about. i have flashed just about every other rom out there including other nfsfan roms and this is the first to act like this.

while checking out some other roms i found out what flashdancing is. i havent done that in about a month but it makes no difference. supposedly this is a problem with the program tab

theres a solution out there but i cant link to it

Me neither - you have to go into the Windows Calendar App...oh well not a big deal.

I agree to an extent. It really shouldn't matter that flashing to stock would have ANY effect, but sometimes in some cases it does. Who knows...When I went from NRG's most recent to this ROM, it didn't flash back to stock and this ROM is golden. However when I recently went from stock (MR2.01) to Root's DarkMax ROM, it was locking up left and right, and I had been running his ROMs for quite some time before flashing to stock in the first place...so go figure....

NFS has it fixed, expect an update sooner or latter.

Also if anyone on Sprint gets the 2016 SMS bug this is not ROM dependent.

WMExperts made there own fix also..

That's been my experience as well... I have had some funky stuff happening on multiple roms, noone else seemed to be having the same issues. I did the flash dance and it took care of it.

It's not a fix for every weird problem but in my experience it does make a difference.

I've been searching for a solution and found a couple of other threads on this topic. On the Contacts tab, on the lower right corner of the contact picture, there's a small rolodex icon - often the icon does not load and I just get a white square. Has anyone else seen this bug and is there a fix? Thank you!

Re: *Updated February 3rd* NFSFAN's Custom WM6.5.x ROMs

Great rom, so glad to have a reason to flash after almost 2 months. No bugs as far as I can tell and I'm loving the new threaded email in this WM build.

Only thing I wish I could do is completely remove voice command. It has nothing to do with this rom, but for whatever reason the little dongle that comes with the TP that converts the mini USB to headphone jack will randomly initiate voice dial and start calling people. I don't even have a mic hooked up; it has something to do with a loose connection. The voice command exe is fully protected and can't be renamed or deleted so I would imagine I'd have to cook my own rom to get rid of it, but oh well.

Thanks for all your hard work NFSFAN, your roms are far and away the best and I will never flash anything else as long as I have my TP!

Ah well, people will believe whatever it is they believe. Its not hurting anyone, not like that crazy belief that many have involving some wacky white bearded guy in the sky that wants them to convert or kill everyone else. Haha.

In all seriousness though, I wonder what people that believe in the mythical "flash dance" actually think it DOES. I mean, besides appease the cell fairies.

I have never once done anything close to that, hell, I don't even do the recommended "hard reset after initial flash". The only problems I have ever had were caused by my own dumbass tinkering. I have a graphical glitch right now that was caused by me trying out cabs to get rid of the calendar and replace it with a missed call indicator. Sometimes I just can't leave a good thing alone. haha

For Bell users flash to the Telus radio. It will improve performance and battery life.

For Americans, no idea. Play around but radios can make a huge battery life difference.

I typically do not do the flash dance. However the stock rom does do something when it relocks the spl. One of my friends has a US Cellular TP and when he first got it I accidentally installed the Verizon gps hack that I usually install on my phone from lllboredlll not knowing that US Cellular does not require a gps hack. This totally messed up the phone. When we dialed *228 to update the roaming list, it said "Welcome to Verizon programming" instead of "Welcome to US Cellular programming". Reflashing NFSFAN's rom did not fix the problem however the stock rom did. We then immediately flashed back to NFSFAN's rom.

hey eric, quick question..ive been hesitant to flash the telus radio only because we cant flash back to the bell one, and work all over ontario with my job and the bell one gets pretty good reception right across the board..how does the reception compare to the bell one?

and NFSFAN, yet again mate you let loose a smokin rom. fast as hell, battery life is fantastic, and smooth as silk. highly recommend this rom to anyone sitting on the fence about flashing it.

YES indeed, great battery life compared to any sensi-ui rom.... fast boot...

one thing NFS. not that it matters, i dont use youtube to much anyway...
When I load youtube, cant play the video on wifi... on data it works fine.. I have 2 other youtube apps, but if install them, It breaks messenging from the pictures from tf3d.(when viewing pictures from tf3d, i cant tap and send mms, goes back to tf3d).

I rather not watch youtube on wifi.. haha..

can any verify... flashed 3 or 4 times already.. this also happens on v1.03b...

I get paid bi-weekly,, I will donate $20 next week... and Im sure everyone else who has tried other roms, notice this is the best...

PLEASE Hook up NFS,....... He does outstanding work... =D> :headbang:

To each his own. However, when I started using NFSFAN roms my screen would get garbled sometimes. Ever since I started using the flashdance technique.... no more garbled screens! :)

Love it so far the battery life is insane better than stock! Left it all night and it lost 0 charge!

Is there a way to hide the "dialing #77" notification when it starts a data connection?
Is what carrier cab should i use with US Cellular to get my gps to work?
Plan on donating soon!

Edit: Just donated $10 Great WORK!

Re: *Updated February 3rd* NFSFAN's Custom WM6.5.x ROMs

Hi, I really like your rom since last year. :) It is awesome~!!!

I just flashed with your recent rom 1.04 version and my tp is stable as before and battery life is good~!

But... :( I cannot answer my call using wire-hands free headsets (comes from stock box, not a bluetooth headset). Usually, when I got a call, I pushed the button which is on the wire but, this time I have to slide to answer on the screen. I don't know why I cannot catch a call using handsfree headsets. It did work before (1.03).

Another issue... when I enable the Manilia Lock on, and I lock the phone using that lock option,, then after 30 seconds or 1 minutes the phone go to sleep/hibernate/off?? I mean, I would like to listen the music while the phone locked. Is there any option?

oh,, I also have freezing issue when I kill the file explore through the ArkSwitch 1.04 TaskManager.. :P

Thank you in advance~!

I used to have the same exact problem. it was never consistent but would happen once or twice a month while charging overnight. I'm gonna assume whatever tasks you may have scheduled (like myphone sync) to run at night ran into errors and just froze the phone while charging. I haven't had this problem yet though with the new ROM.

just wondering if anyone else is having problems with screen rotation. when using manila i cannot slide open the device without the screen going blank. slide it back into the closed position and everything is fine. doesnt do this with windows default.

other than that it is amazing.

and one other question, i have never really payed attention to memory use, but with the new task switcher, even with no apps open, i seem to be using up to half of my memory. and having 1-3 apps open seems to put it into the "yellow" zone with memory. just wondering if this is normal. running on a sprint tp fyi.

yep thats normal..manila 2.5 hasnt been fully ported/or ported from something that had no landscape...its supposed to look that way for now.
and i think the 2.5 takes up plenty of space..again, i think thats just normal.

i've had the issue two nights in a row now. i'm going to stop the myphone sync to see if that resolves issue. myphone sync does work though during the day so not sure if that's it. just to note, i doubt it's the rom. i just got a refurb replacement phone and it's acting up.

Yea, this was was the morning after I flashed. I've had the problem with a few different ROMs and thought that maybe it was something to do with MyPhone. The problem is that if somebody needs to call me while the phone is in this state I can't recieve the call. I guess its true though, only problem I've found other than not being able to directly enter appointments in the Manila calander tab.

That makes no sense to me either. I think it's the package version of the googlelocationservice that the chef uses that determines this. I really love that ability to get my location via cell towers, without having to fire up GPS. For a while you could always count on NRG's ROM's to deliver this feature, but alas those have lost that ability as well...

two things, I just downloaded the rom today and am using it now good work man! I was hoping for a new rom from you and Im now glad I have it :)

The other question is just a general question relating to this build. From other roms (i.e. Copper rom, MightRom etc) theres a way to "end button by taping X" or "end button by holding X". Where do I find that option in this build (your rom)?

Anyone having problem where the "Automatically adjust backlight" just won't keep the setting? Sometimes it became unchecked and I have to rechecked it. I changed that through the Manilia interface. Thanks.
