I was adding some custom task bar icons, and somehow, I've managed to lose the HTC volume control.

Adjusting the volume now results in a giant sized balloon text slider type box. Looks sorta like the stock 6.1 volume control, but it's inside a 'talk bubble' that looks like it is coming out of the speaker in the icon.

Hard reset... flash danced back to MR stock sprint rom, and back to this rom... no joy.

I also lose ActiveSync connection, so I have to enter boot loader manually.

You lost ActiveSync connection after going back to Indys rom? or you can not get back to his rom you lost ActiveSync connection after Sprint rom?

Sync was working fine with Indy's ROM until I jacked with the task bar icons / volume issue.

Now, once I flash dance back to stock, and back to this ROM, I lose active sync, and in order to flash dance again, I have to manually enter boot loader. However, attaching as a drive connects just fine.

Mine's not connecting with active sync either.

Next thing I have found. Why can I not browse the windows folder?

Have you tried reflashing already? Have you installed anything? I just did the flashdance with the lastest HTC update mainly so I could update my PRI.

Still can't get pocketrar to work because no OK button at first run setup

in the pics on page 1 I cant see the prorams underneath the slider like in some builds. is this something you fixed or are they there??

A few things.

First, this is the best 2.5 ROM I have run so far.

Regarding the WinRAR issue, I have seen this on about every other ROM I have run as well. I manually install the WinRAR cab and it works fine.

The only issue I have found is when I click on the text message tab on 2.5 it does not open the text messaging dialog. I have not had this issue with other 2.5 ROMs I have tried.

Groove had this fixed but unfortunately something went down and were waiting for him to re-post the fix. Its is a know issue.

The attached cab will install 12 shortcut box's, basically fixes the problem. It may conflict with other mods so be aware.
