Is everybody's appointments showing up correctly?? Alot of mine are off by 1 hour, and some are correct.

The thing is when I go in to edit them, they show correct times, and correct times show on outlook.

the battery life isnt as good as i expected.

Yea theres an .cab in the Start / System Tools / Battery folder called Battery Saver Settings run it and enjoy :lurk:

actually its really easy. just search the different names on the site i gave and install the cab files for the different changes. You need one cab file for the 3 row change - i move everything into 4 or 5 folders in the main start menu so dont need the 4 rows. Then i used one cab file to change enable and install the panoramic wallpaper. I liked the manila veo_ Moonscape with this ROM. Then there are three cabs for the Rootlinux NRG changes. Hope this helps, i have bee using this rom all day and cant think of much else to do it. it just works. had aminor issue with the opera 9.5 crashing during browsing so i installed the 9.7 beta and works great just not from the manila TF but from the program list. Anybody have a fix for it?

hey I installed an app and it changed my taskbar icons ? do you have a .cab for me to restore the look of your taskbar icons .. btw the app auto sets up my data settings, I don't know how it changed the taskbar icons ...

What kind of features and programs does this Rom come with. I have Pski 4 on mines right now and loving it. Downfall with my present Rom is battery life. But everything else programs wise I love.

Overall, probably the best ROM I've ever seen or used. However, the lack of the HTC task manager in the corner will probably result in me ditching it which sucks cause I love this ROM so far - sleek, fast, and stable!

I cannot run a email for Hotmail and reading looks like I need to install Windows Live, however I cannot find it! I've googled it and found a mobile windows live website, but not the actually application. Also I've checked market place and cannot seem to find it either. Any input?

Like I said, overall this has to be the best ROM I've ever used - and this is coming straight from EnergyROM.

Testing I noticed when I opened a few apps then click on the time in the upper right hand corner and there was the htc task manger so it is there..

task manger is in the start menu , its just not the htc task manager its better provides more information.

I never personally use Windows Live, so I never cooked it in.

New release in the next day or two, I'll include Windows Live.

As far as the little task manager button in the corner, I'd love to include that, but can't for the life of me figure out how... any suggestions?

CLARIFICATION ON WM6.5.1 DROP DOWN ICONS VS. HTC TASK MANAGER:

If you tap ON OR VERY NEAR the actual ICONS on the top of the screen, the HTC TASK MANAGER will appear. If you tap AWAY FROM the actual icons (i.e. the clock or "Start" letters), the WM6.5.1 icons will drop down.

Started having some freezing issues....any ways to fix that? And in terms of having the task manager in the upper right hand corner is there a .cab I can download for that? Also, phone isnt ringing or vibrating, tried soft reset to no avail, I get the missed calls phone lights up it just doesnt ring. Any fix for that? THanks again!!

That all sounds pretty bad. Did you hard reset after the flash? Hard reset or try reflashing, because none of that should happen.

If your flashing from the energyrom, do the flash dance:

flash to stock Rom hard rest , then flash to the empirom then hard rest ..

I was having simalair issues using energy rom , flash dance has solved allot of my issues, also a radio upgrade fixed the lack of signal .:headbang:

The HTC task manager is there as I said in an earlier post you have to play around in the upper right hand corner (where the icons are) some to find it.

yea the drop down menu in the top right hand corner does work sometimes but the new 6.5.1 builds just mess it up and its a pain to get it to work correctly if that helps you out

anyone have issues with the grooveshark app? Or task manager?

I tried using grooveshark twice, and each time it got stuck searching...i wasnt able to close it out because when i went into task manager to close it, task manager locked up. I forgot to soft reset after the second time and my battery ran out within the hour :(

Yeah I have many times in the past few days, it's there it's just a Royal PITA to get to. If you keep tapping on the clock in the upper right hand corner (I use the stylus) over and over the task manager will eventually drop down and appear. Then you can see what's running in the background and X out what you want to close.

I'm still loving this ROM, give it a try guys. I've been playing around with Tellme some today for the first time, it's not too bad and fun to play around with.

Before flashing a new ROM I run Clear Storage, then flash the stock Sprint ROM, then flash the new ROM I want to check out. I don't have any freezing issues flashing this way.

Dam fine work!!! So far everyting is working great!!! Maybe I can finally give the Groove 5 rom a rest and switch to this rom for good :0

The only thing that really needs a new look is your start up page a little boring compared to other roms, but dam can't believe everything is working. I like the Tell Me app for texting that is too cool.

Has anybody got the idialer to work? it brings up a window to sign into gmail and then it gives me an alert that i need to enable cookies in internet explorer. (they are.)
Also anybody having opera crash after viewing 1 or 2 websites?
I got around this by installing opera 9.7 but i would like to have the option to use the internet tab in manila.

This rom is very nice. I had to change to pagepool to work with my phone, but other than that it is still fast after the change.

Great ROM! This is the 3rd ROM I've put on my phone (yeah, a drop in the bucket compared to most on here, I'm sure!), and each of the previous ones were dropped because of crappy battery life (NRG was the worst...it would last about 6 hours). This one is here to stay...unless I sell the phone. And, as previously stated, the *ONLY* gripe would be the missing "X" in the upper-right corner. Most apps don't quit automatically and it can affect performance (and battery life...especially if GPS is running in the background). I am eagerly awaiting to see what updates are on the way...you're gonna have a hard time topping this one! Woot!

The drop down task manager is there, it's just way easier to do a soft reset at times if I know several apps are running in the BG I wanna close. Dealing with the task manager is a small price for me to pay to keep this ROM on my phone.

Yeah I've been playing with it. Out of about 50 taps, it showed once, so it IS there, just not convenient.

Installed Windows Live cab and got hotmail working which is a definite plus! Hopefully the task manager situation can sorted out.

Have had it installed 24 hours and opinion is really high! So stable and fast. Definitely one of the best ROMs I've used.

Is there any way to change the icons of the touch flo items? While I know which each one is, a few of them are kind of weird (Contacts, Mail, weather and programs).

Again, great rom! Keep up the great work.

LOL you know what I think that I might have forgotten to do that after I flashed. So far after the hard reset no more freezing. I think I was just excited to try a new rom lol.

Oh BTW in regards to everyone saying something about the task manager, maybe try cooking in the showcase suite next rom. Just a suggestion that might please everyone lol.

For some reason when my onscreen keyboard is stuck in XT9 mode and its kinda annoying cuz I dont use that feature. Any fixes for this? Great freaking ROM by the way!

Remember the cool feature with the stock ROM when the phone was in stand-by mode and you pulled the stylus out it woke the phone up. The newer cooked ROMs at least the ones I've tried have left this feature out, not this one.

This ROM keeps on amazing me.

first off congrats on making the fastest, smoothest and most stable rom that I have yet tried.

Coming off the energy rom I was Extremely relieved at how well the basic functions work. (I.e. ending a call or turning the screen on and off).

That said, you're obviously interested in feedback so here's what I've got:

1. Task Manager: I need the task manager icon in the upper right hand corner! Eventually I end up with a bunch of apps open due to multitasking etc... This is my absolute number one request for any additional versions of this thing.

2. Bluetooth/ Wifi quick on/off: One thing that I really liked about the energy rom was easy access to features like quickly turning bluetooth/wifi on/off. If you're able to do this, it would be like icing on the cake.

3. Color scheme: Although I've not played around with this as much yet, I personally would love to see some more subdued color schemes as sometimes the icons just aren't very visible due to the unique color sets.

Thats just my 2 cents, but I want to re-iterate my thanks to your for your hard work! Your rom, at its core is the best rom that I've used to date (Topping both Energy and Mighty in smoothness and stability). The Empi Rom makes it feel like I've got a whole new phone.

One more thing I remembered,

the sound adjustment bar is the old MS Windows Pocket PC variety. Is there any way to get back to the regular HTC volume indicator?

Just for the sake of getting an updated release out tonight, I'm going to put these suggestions on hold for now. I'll need time to test them all and decide if I should/can include them. So, the release tonight will mainly be for new users-- if you've already downloaded 2.07p and customized it, you might as well keep it that way. However, 2.08p will be a "stronger start" for new users.
