if #1 try reflashing
if #2 AS will attemp to be active all the time ie will show up in task manager...you can search the thread for nrg, the cab is called "active sync killer" should keep AS off until phone is pluged in--or you could go into task manager and close it...phone is not syncing unless you are pluged in or bt to computer

I know about AS killer but I was wondering why AS is running in the background on this new ROM.

I just reflashed and then hard reset my TP, task manager pull down menu is still missing from upper right corner

I have the same issue with the task manager pull-down missing from the upper right corner. Also, is there anyway to enable the Windows Mobile 6.5 slider lock screen? I have tried classic and default and they both seem to be the same.

BTW, I am using this on a crutched VZW TP and have had zero issues. I love SPB Mobile Shell and was glad to find it in a custom ROM. Thanks!

Started thinking about the lock screen slider issue. Is it not there because the ROM is built on WM 6.5 and not WM 6.5.3?

s2u2 works great with MS. I have an older version, but the new one works great.

Here's the version of S2U2 I'm using, there is an updated version.

Once installed SR.
then go
Start-s2u2-s2u2 settings-general-lock when device wakes up "ON" , Lock when Screen is blank "OFF"

configure the rest as you see fit.

With these settings, power button starts s2u2 (locks screen) but does not lock the screen when the backlight turns off. it's pretty slick, power button tap and your all locked up.

I did try S2U2 but for some reason, and it may or may not be related, when I test how fast it rings on an incoming call, it takes like three rings before it actually makes a sound. Perhaps I need to mess with it some more.

try with S2U2 disabled to see if it is s2u2 causing the delay

As much as I hate it, my TP is having problems. Went to Sprint and they are replacing with a TP2. Any chance of getting this rom on a TP2?
