Please report if there are any BSOD's (black screen of death). I'm curious to see if it shows up in this 28002 build.

Yeah I'm trying to figure out if it is inherent to the build or not. That is how you get the BSOD's though. Just all of a sudden and there you have it sleeping beauty.

Just installed the latest ROM and I can't go into options in the phone screen. I tap on it and nothing happens. Is there a workaround? Anybody else having this problem?

I'm digging this rom, I like the Manila Sense and 6.5.3.
And I'm glad to have not ran into a BSOD yet.
But I did notice, there are some graphical errors in the HTC messaging. It seems a bit of center in landscape mode.
But other then that, it's cool.
I've always liked your roms, I'm glad to see you are still making roms for the TP.
Thanks.

Re: [11/23/09] Longhorn ROM 28002 with TF2.5

Some glitches/questions:

1. Appears to limit the number of people you can send a text at once to 10.

2. Contacts does not open up when I click on Add Recipient. The curser is in the Search People box at the top. I type in a name, then click Done. It goes back to the compose message screen but no names are listed. Oh...Never mind, I see what it's doing now... Pretty cool.

3. No Program Screen on 2.5?

4. Smearing when certain themes are chosen (Yin-Yang).

5. This thing is a memory hog. Right around 56%.

Still, an awesome ROM. Apparently, I need to get used to some of the quirks of 2.5.

10 people dam!

Nope 2.5 does not have a program screen. Its now on the main page. Scroll or flip down and you will see the place to can add your programs

4. Smearing when certain themes are chosen (Yin-Yang).
Thats the TSK for you. They change more then just the wallpaper and will cause issues. Best to keep on the weather theme with 2.5

Its running 2.5....Yes it will be a hog. 2.5 was build for the likes for HTC HD and more "high end devices". The fact that we can even use 2.5 on the TP is killer.

as echo said all the things are true but the programs are on the home page just scroll down and i mention this that 2.5 is a memory hog but its so cool and the tsk simple reboots will fix the issue your having but tsk are just a pain in the butt

Dodge,

Great looking ROM. Do you know if Sprint TV works with your version of 2.5?

I could never get SprintTV to work with the other versions floating around the forums.

Thanks.

Re: [11/30/09] Longhorn ROM 28004

Can I get opinions on the better back-ups to reduce the amount of re-doing all of my preferences, ie. sounds, e-mail accounts, location, time and date settings, etc. I am getting pretty good at it since I am updating my ROM every few days until I find one that works well for me.

I have been using PIM back-up but once I connect via active sync, both my contacts and calendar duplicate themselves. Also, PIM doesn't save any settings.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I just save the pim.vol file in the root directory and have it re-installed when I run sashimi after flashing or you can try HTC data backup

Re: [12/1/09] Longhorn ROM 28004 2.1 and 28006 2.5

I'll explain, on CDMA phone settings when you select phone it allows to choose ringers, kbd with short tones or not, in services you have time syncronization, automatic prepend which is enable dial using 1 or disable it, disable roam and so on. Hope I'm explaining.

Or if you can explain to me how can I disable when it automatically dial +1 and phone number, disable phone kpd sounds and enabling to answer calls when using bluetooth???. These are usualyy found on settings, then personal, then phone or under settings, then comm manager. I know chefs build differently. But besides this, them ROM is great.:mrgreen::mrgreen:
