Hey Dodge

Dont mean to be a pain in the butt but are you still planning on compiling a clean build 23081 or 23085? How long does it actually take to do something like this?

Thanks.

Yeah, happened again today after hard resets last night. Froze this a.m. and then it started hard resetting on its own, getting stuck at longhorn screen then re-hard resetting over and over.

Was thinking maybe the flash memory had gone bad causing access errors, so pulled the flash and did a manual hard reset. Set the phone up and it soon just auto hard reset and locked up while sitting on the counter - had to pull the battery to get it turned off.

Guess I'll try a flash dance.

So what do you guys use for task management? I was thinking there would be something integrated into 6.5.1, but I couldn't find anything. I used WisBar Lite previously, but it looks absolutely awful with the new top status bar.

I was hoping tasks would show up in that top status bar, but that would make too much sense :P

Under your All Programs, there is a Task Manager there. It is Task Manager v3.1 and is much more powerful than the stock TM...

dodge_longhorn, can you tell me if it is possible to "swap" out the contacts with one that allows Facebook integration? I loved that feature of some of the other ROMs floating around here, but overall I like your ROM more..! So, I'd like to have the best of both worlds. Can I just find a CAB and install it? Could it be that simple?
Thanks for the awesome work!

I guess user mwalt2 says: "That's a feature in Manila 2.1 also called rhodium. It is not available in a cab (unless you cab install the entire gen.y manila 2.1 release), but if you're using one of calkulin's manila roms, you should have it. I don't think he makes the roms with old manila anymore (or did you use his kitchen?)."

Does that help? ?
Thanks again!

So every time you want to switch between tasks, you go to this program? I realize how powerful it is, but this is not a solution for a quick task switch. Wisbar Lite was great for that, and for some reason I thought WM 6.5.1 had all the apps integrated into the new status bar at the top... I was wrong.

I used a build of wm6.5 that had a drop down list of the running tasks on the top-right of the home screen. This was OK, but not ideal. Going thru my phone to dig for a task manager just to switch tasks? That's not a solution.

So do people just close their tasks and reopen them constantly? There's a few apps I like to have running all the time, and I just cycle between them. If there was some way to integrate the running apps into the new status bar up top, I'd love that for a solution, it seems to me like that would the best/most elegant solution. Let me know what you guys come up with, I'm going to keep searching for some 3rd party solution like Wisbar in the meantime.

And what is "lil hoss"?
