Too many incompatibilities? Also, you wouldn't happen to have a CAB to revert back to the standard SIP? I just can't get used to the EZinput 2.0 on the TP screen, buttons are just too small.

I want my hybrid QWERTY back. :)

Excuse my ignorance...newbie here.

I have tried a few times to hit the download that is referenced in the initial posting with no luck...gets about 51MB down of the 124 and bombs...

Can anyone point me to a working ROM DL...this seems to be the most popular Wm6.5 ROM on the site and I would love to join the party.

Menu Enhancement?

Anyone figure out how to get one of the HTC Menu Enhancements to work? I've tried the Tachi, Topaz and Rhodium version for the 6.5 version. And have tried each with the Fancarl menu loader. Still no go though.

Not sure why, but anytime the phone is restarted, the Messaging App is launched. Doesn't go into the Messaging App but it shows Messaging in the upper left corner instead of Start, the X close button in the right corner and the SIP keyboard button at bottom center.

Ok, i'm curious about the backpage in this opera version. When used the phone just sits and does nothing but hypnotize you with the wait cursor.

Just to add- installing this will create another start menu icon. To remove it go into windows folder/start menu and delete it. App will launch with original icon.

Thanks for the update.
When I activate touchFLO I get a shell.exe but it does activate. While running TouchFLO, opera 9.5 or 9.7 wont launch I get the aforementioned shell.exe error. One last thing, the Album application is unresponsive; I can open and close it but I can't select or scroll photos. Its probably a bad flash, so im in the process of flashing back to stock and then flashing your ROM. Either way I still have your last release which was excellent to roll back to.

The 111309 release seems to be working ok for me. I've noticed that the album does not respond to the touch screen. Must use the d-pad only. When you set an album as a favorite it says you can view the album in HTC Sense. Maybe it doesn't work with TF3D? Haven't fully tested but that's all I'm having problems with so far.

Sorry For the delay, unfortunately after 3 flashes im still getting the Shell32.exe errors when launching touchFLO and Opera. I did notice however that it seems to be speedier in general; for instance launching PIM Backup launches with about a 20% improvement. I'm sure you would know if this build is faster than the last build, so ill just shut up now. Your last ROM was pretty much perfect and im 100% satisfied with it, but if this one brings more speed then even better. Thanks again IDG.

Groove, something appears wrong with the download link. I've tried yesterday morning, evening and now this morning, but continue to receive a File Not FOund error.

I figured you were doing another update and the link was down, but now I think that's maybe not the case. :)

The ROM name will have the same number as previous ROM's, the only thing that changes is the Title of the thread to indicate what the most current version is. In this case, 111109 (Nov. 11, 2009) the previous version was 102109 (Oct. 21, 2009).

Seeing as how this was a stock ROM that was upgraded to 6.5 I suspect 6.5 to be the problem. Anyway, I was in the process of making an outgoing call, pressed contacts, selected a recipient and hit call. Right about that time an incoming call came in which locked up the phone requiring a soft reset.

Unfortunately, I can't duplicate it because I only have the one phone. I do know that it never did that with the Stock Sprint ROM. Which is why I suspect an issue with 6.5 itself since that's the only difference with this ROM.

Can anyone else confirm?

Great ROM everything works great for me, except one thing, i cannot dial or text message from the favorite persons detail tab (the one that comes up when you click the picture)

any ideas?

Just FYI, Grooves hard drive crashed a few days before Thanks Giving. He lost the kitchens to this ROM and the Sense ROM he made. Before he had a chance to try to recover or rebuild, the insurance company offered him a TP2.

So, it may be unlikely that we will see any newer ROM's for our TP phones. We can hope, but it's all up to him.

Not sure if there's any interest, but I converted the Sprint Theme to a more Topaz Theme complete with the Topaz Lock Slider Buttons I made earlier to go with it.

1. Make sure the phone is not locked (so lock files are not in use)
2. Turn off TF3D (so TF3D is not in use)
3. Install CAB
4. Soft Reset

Great rom indagroove. I am a noobie so please bear with me. Is there anyway to get the TF3D weather to download weather data based on the current GPS location? I saw this with some of the other roms that I had used but cannot find a way to get that on this rom. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
