Sounds like a bad flash, of a flash back to ship time for you. Weirdness like that is indicitive of other underlying issues. I don't have that issue using the same rom myself. Flash to ship, load only as far as "tap here to setup.." screen, flash my rom, fully load, run through customizations, hard reset,.. -- should be good to go.

Why TP2 this is for just regular TP right? And what device was this stock ripped from because i havent seen a stock 6.5 for this device "TP" Did you rip from a TP2 then convert it to the regular TP?

It's the oem of the 6.1 sprint rom, upgraded to a 6.5 sys, then the stock apps upgraded as well. It's kinda like what sprint would release if they actually were to release a stock 6.5 rom today. I did add a few things that Sprint obviously wouldn't add (Tethering, WiFi sharing, Mortscript, Sashimi,..), but that's just a little bonus. It's basically a "stock" feel.

Other wise your thread sounds a little miss leading- just a suggestion

Perhaps, but if users would just take two minutes to read the first three sentences of the first post, and the changelog it would immediately become obvious what this rom is all about -- I think.. Notice how posted "stock" in the title, not stock. Sorry if I wasted your time by forcing you to read more than the title.

That title sounds even MORE misleading since it is actually a 6.5 ROM not a 6.1.

The title is fine.

If it's not listed in the changelog in the first post, it hasn't been changed. Manila is stock.

I think that would defeat the purpose of the ROM. This is made to be stable and stock, and Manila 2.5 is still in Beta and not fully ported to VGA. Heck it probably won't ever be completely ported, unless it comes to a CDMA phone, which is when the dialer and such will be able to be ported.

Indagroove,

Great job again!

I reflash my phone everytime you upgrade the rom. I dont bother with any other rom since Ive used yours.

The only weird bug I ran into with the 10/15 rom, is that if bluetooth is enabled, and I launch ICS, the computer cant fully seem to get to the internet, unless I turn BT off. Strange huh?

Keep it up!

Does anyone have problem getting Hotmail inbox to show up? I ran the Windows Live and the setup went fine. I can see the mail listed in the touchflo 3D and flip through each of the emails, but I can't click on it to open up. If I hit the inbox, it only list sms/mms and outlook email and no hotmail. Thanks.

I had the same problem. I fixed it by installing Windows Live again.

I installed this ROM yesterday and it worked fine until this evening. I was having trouble getting Voice Command to start when pressing the button on my BT handsfree. I did a soft reboot and my phone wouldn't start Windows. It was just stuck at the first black screen with "Touch Pro" on it.

I just reflashed my phone with the stock ROM.

That's that I had to do too this morning to get that working. So far it's working fine. Anyone here able to get the background on all the tabs working? I tried this one but it doesn't seem to work (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...64&postcount=2)

Thanks.

the rom runs flawless...i just am having trouble customizing it, a added the sprint flip clock, but it will not work for this rom, it adds it but when u swipe ur finger upwards on the clock it just highlights it, i also tried mightymike & Lilrico flip clocks and none of them seem to work with this rom, i tired transparent sliders and background on all pages, all these cabs dont seem to work with this rom, is there any customizing cabs out there that can do any of these things i mentioned and work with this rom?

Now that I've installed this ROM, anyone have any hints on WM 6.5? Is there anything like the "recently used items" from the 6.1 start menu? Can I reorganize the "Programs" page? Is there any resource online for upgraders from 6.1 that explains the differences?

Thanks for the ROM! Loving it so far.

hey guys.. im considering flashing to this rom.. its gonna be my first rom ever... quick question.. will the phone lag/freeze up when you have too many threaded texts? i know that its a known problem with winmo6.5 but has anyone had this problem with this rom? and secondly.. whats the best way to back up contacts/sms without using shashimi? shashimi looks really complicated for a n00b like me.. :) ive looked at pim backup.. but not exactly sure of how to reload the content once the stuff that i need has been backed up..

Can somebody post the User Agent that Opera on the stock rom uses? I don't like the one that this version of Opera uses.

Thanks!

EDIT: Found this one: "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible ; MSIE 6.0; windows ce; IEMobile 7.11) sprint ppc6850sp" Seems to work.

i recommend pim back up. open it up it will backup a copy of all the component that you wish to save (message, contact, call log) to your storage card. Upon loading up a new rom simple open up pim back and hit restore, browse to your storage card where they saved the file and it will restore and re-ask you what you want to reload. most roms are comming stock with pimbackup, but if you chose a rom that doesnt have it you will want to have a copy of pimback up hand on you storage card. (just search around for a copy)

Re: indagroove's "Stock" Upgraded Sprint WM 6.5 Touch Pro ROM [102109]

Just wanted to say thanks.

I tried someone's beta native 6.5 rom (name will not be mentioned). It broke bluetooth on my phone, specifically bluetooth would not work with any of my cars built in bluetooth (2x Audis and 1x BMW), but still worked with the regular bluetooth stuff. I mentioned it to this person in a PM, they blew up at me and said it wasn't possible. So I grabbed all the sprint TPs in my family that don't have cars with bluetooth and tried them all on my cars, they all worked. Flashed to said rom and none of them worked with my cars anymore.

I have flashed back to stock and many other roms to try to get bluetooth functionality back for my vehicles. Your rom, not sure what's different about it, but it has bluetooth working with my vehicles again. Just to make sure it wasn't a fluke I grabbed all my family's TPs and flashed them as well and sure enough they work again too.

So thanks.

*now I'm scared to flash to my usual rom in fear of loosing bluetooth with my vehicles again.

Hi again,

Here are two things issues I've encountered so far - nothing major though:

1. The Calculator is not working (HTCCalculator, I think?) If you need the error message / screenshot, do let me know. (I figure you would be able to recreate it at your end too). If and when this is addressed, would you consider make just the working calculator available as well (besides the next cumulative ROM release)?

2. From COMM Manager, when I turned on WiFi and selected the network, I got the screen where I enter the WiFi password. I slid out the keyboard and the screen went into Landscape mode, but it did not render that screen well at all. I could see the text entry box but the rest of the screen was garbled up.

Hope my comments help. Once again, great job!

Anyone know if you can continue using Compact Qwerty with the EZInput 2.0 installed? I tried the EZInput CAB on my phone and it's just to small to use with normal size hands. Had to HR to get the standard SIP back with Compact Qwerty.

Here's the CAB I've been using when I hard reset, sounds liek the same one included in the ROM though. Got it originally from mbvarian so the credit goes to him. I don't install the g-sensor SDK he put out with it as it acts weird with the photo app, separate CAB anyway.

Re: indagroove's "Stock" Upgraded Sprint WM 6.5 Touch Pro ROM [102109]

I notice that this ROM's Start Menu has four columns of icons in the honeycomb, whereas most shots of WM6.5 show three columns of icons. Has anyone been able to increase the icon spacing / font size succesfully to make it 3 columns?

I have increased the font from the Settings > Screen to no avail. I also installed the Advanced Config Tool that I'd used with WM 6.1, and despite changing the Horizontal and Vertical spacing values significantly, and increasing the Icon Title font, (followed by a Soft Reset), I still see no difference.

Help would be appreciated.

Hey Groove. Wondering if there were any plans to make a ROM using the 23502 build. From what I've heard, it's pretty quick compared to the older builds. Haven't done any comparisons myself, so I can't agree or disagree.
