Has anyone figured out the gps issue yet? I've used a lot of NFSFAN ROM's (all the way back to the vogue) but this is the first time either of my phones straight up will not get a gps lock at all. I've run the provisioning cab and checked the location settings in settings>personal>location settings.

As of now neither google maps nor the built in location based weather panel is working at all.

did you hard reset after flash? also change your phone info, gets confusing.

Is Google Maps My Location working on this ROM? That would be when you press the blue button and it gives you an approximate location without GPS.

that is the result of a bad flash..
anytime u lose camera and/or sound = bad flash.

reflash and all should be fixed.

Well I have come to a strange realization. The GPS is still not working after reflashing, hard reset, and checking all the settings/installing the sprint provisioning cab. AND now i can't receive texts (I can send them, but my phone does not receive them).

Anyone else been able to get the My Location weather to work?

I also cannot add specific cities into the weather tab, keeps saying: "There was a connection error while attempting to downlod weather data. Retry?"

my google maps worked perfect, even my location blue box and weather my location. some of you need to flash stock rom, see if problems are still there then flash from stock and hardreset.

Yeah I've tried just about everything I could think of.

I have flashed back to stock, hard reset, installed carrier cab, flashed to a different radio version. I'm just about out of ideas, for some reason this rom kills my phone. Everything seems to work on the stock rom, but when I flash back to this one it is back to not working. If I call my voicemail I'll get some of my back texts, but only when I'm connected. I can only send out stuff, I do not get any incoming calls/texts.

I love this ROM but it's possible I can't use it on my phone for some reason, what could be causing this?

Tried nrg but it was like running a v8 454 block running rich with a heavy foot driver. Not even funny.

if anybody wants to pm me, ill tell you the rom im using and why, i had to drop this rom for battery issues, not sure what changed but it wasnt on my end, no new apps ect. all other builds were great on battery. im very happy now with rom im using and will try this one again if another build comes out.

Just loaded this ROM and it looks AMAZING. Props to NFSFAN!

I just noticed something funky with my text messaging though. Only been using it for an hour or so, but have received texts now from two different people, which display in the subsection for 'text' when I click on it, but when I click on it again, I'm sent to the text messages inbox, where the text I just viewed is gone.

Viewing the thread for all texts with each person, only texts I'VE made are displayed, and the texts that I'm certain I received aren't anywhere to be found.

Any idea what's up with this?

I installed the Arcsoft Verizon MMS 5.0.69.44.cab and i can now send and receive pics, vids, and sms msgs.

gotta reflash to stock then flash the rom. I had that issue and it seemed to do the trick. make sure to back up first though

Getting error message when trying to run (press) Titanium Radar...

Have done the setup for Radar as he says using the format he say...

Same here. I installed the vzw cabs after flashing the rom and noticed I couldn't receive pics. Thanks to SCH-i730...I found this post which has the verizon mms cab and removal cab(not sure if the removal cab is needed but I ran it anyway.)

Once installed it was fixed. :D

i just flashed stock rom then this rom again and now i see where my battery problem was, beam is on and activesync wasnt turning off, turned beam off and used activesync killer cab and all is good again. no mms\sms,googlemaps ect issues. im on 7hrs with lots of texts 1hr web and im at 86%

This is by far an awesome build. i have tried a few so far..some were sluggish..some had some issues etc...but this one rocks. my battery life is also excellent.

Those of you wondering about the gps...yea...google wont work for some reason. HOWEVER, Microsoft Bing...works awesome. I can use GPS with that and track myself going down the road. typically it takes about 30 seconds for it to locate me and then its game on.

sprint folks or just me maybe, my googlemaps locks in 3 sec, and the bluebox wors with a blue "ring" showing radius of where you are. i got 13hrs battery with tons of web\text and few calls. make sure you guys turn beam off in connections also, most roms its not on.

Doesn't seem to kill Activesync for me though.. just soft resetted and activesync is running again.

Does the kill just keep it from re-opening?

EDIT... wierd, the CAB also stopped my keyboard from working... just removed it completely.

sorry, never herd that one, ive used it [cab] since my vogue days. ill bet it wasnt the cab. not even sure what killing activesync would have to do with kb anyhow.
