I tried a lot of ROMs but I always end up coming back to this one.
I can't wait to try the new version 1. I'm downloading it now. Will let you know my experience with it after about a few hours running it and getting everything installed.

If you install the NFSFAN's custom Opera 10 beta, he has it default to Open from that TF3D tab

I just finished working on 6.5.3 build 28004. Will release tomorrow. Got a new task manager, mapped to back hardkey. Its pretty good http://forum.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif

The good thing is that I've been able to get the sys to run quite fast, stable and flawless.

I, too, always end up back at NFSFAN's ROMs.

Does anyone have problems with SMS texts and Titanium?
Each time I receive texts and the new text shows on Titanium, when I click on the Titanium link for the new text, it opens up my SMS inbox and the SMS is deleted and I can't find it anywhere -- drafts, inbox, deleted, sent, outbox.

I'm running on Sprint and one of the only things I've added to this ROM is ArcSoft MMS 5.0.82.79 (some CAB somewhere for Sprint's MMS). Any help would be appreciated.

Yes I am also having this problem now, it is very strange. Gonna try a hard reset less my Sashimi modding. I am running a telus touch pro and I did install the Telus Carrier Pack

UPDATE:

Flashed back to original, tried before carrier cab and after. Sadly the text messages did not work :-( Seems like none of the incoming text events fired either. No notification sound or message. Something is seriously strange, but yesterday it was working fine. I suspect there is a glitch that has something to do with todays date. For now gonna load sumthin else, BUT as soon as this is fixed will be coming straight back.

Will release 6.5.3 build later tonight. I just finished adding office 2010 with new icons :) Worked out a few bugs and everything is functioning as it should :).

yo bro NFSFAN, i just wanted to say that I had your rom when i had the tp1 and now i have MM for tp2.

You seriously had the best/fastest/,ost stable rom that I had EVER tried. Are you planning to come over to tp2 or not

Is there any way to access the Windows Picture Viewer again? I know you have all picture viewing default to the HTC Album. However the HTC album doesn't allow you to edit your picture like the Windows Picture Viewer. Some photos I need to rotate counter clock wise 90 degrees because when I take a landscape photo it saves it in the position it was taken. But if I were to try to upload this photo to Facebook I would have to rotate it first before sending.

Lovin this release. I just have one question. Is it possible to play the music tab with the display off? I searched but didn't find what I was looking for. Tried the 6.5.x version but found this one does every thing I need the way I'm used to. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

hey guys, im using NSFANS last round v1.4 (21869). I love this rom & am wondering if its worth upgrading? im from the school of if it aint broke, dont fix it. Whats the improvments for this new ROM?

hey guys quick question. I havent been able to connect to the data connection for a while now.

I installed and re-installed the spring provisioning CAB but when it dials #777, it still doesnt want to connect to the "DATA CONNECTION" network

can anyone shed some light on this matteR?

What has worked for me in the past is to flash back to stock then run the internet from that, then flash back to custom rom, and reinstall provision cab followed by a soft-reset or two. This has worked for me in the past.

I'm looking for the Windows picture viewer as well since HTC album can't rotate images. I tried to copy the lnk file from another phone but it still loads HTC album. Thanks.

What has worked for me is

start-settings-folder connections-connections-manage existing connections-proxy settings and unclick this network uses a proxy server to connect to the internet,

When you connect It will prompt you for a user name and pass word leave them blank and check the remember pass word and hit ok

Question??
I installed Androkkid and it only works in portrait. Is there a way to stop the phone from auto rotating using the accelerometer only for Androkkid?

Usually for Sprint users there's no need to install. I already have a nice ride with this ROM and didn't have to install provitioning cab. This is a very nice ROM easy to handle and work around. Clean too.

This happened to me also, not usually on this ROM but after flashing a few ROMs and coming back it might happen... Try flashing stock ROM then flash back to this one

HI NFS,
I have found the probable source of my power issues.
But first my settings.
Rom 1.02B
I have the phone set to "dim the screen" on battery at 30 seconds.
I had tried "turning the device off" but then of course it didn't ring on incoming call.

So..with the dim setting I find that I can be working with my phone and then when done tap the top button to turn the screen off and put it back in my case. But later when I pick up the phone the screen is dim and it's eaten battery. I have know been able to constantly reproduce this but the time at which the screen comes back on and dim is variable.
It is doing this without having received any texts, phone calls and I have email and weather turned off (not polling it).

Any help would be appreciated. Basically I would like the screen to stay black unless I receive a call/text or have hit the top button myself.

My power settings are set to turn the device off after 1 minute... and it always rings on incoming calls. i.e. It doesn't really turn the phone off, it just turns the screen off.

Go to the start menu, the click on settings from settings click HOME, and then got to items and then unclick Windows default, and then click TouchFlo and you should be good.

I'm using that ROM and I have a "Today" option.

So... i have: Bluetooth, Today, Lock, clocks&alarms, system, connections, personal

If you don't see that... you might want to do a hard reset.

Hello, I´m using NFSFAN rom and I like this new version, is very aesthetic, but the windows icon is down and there are many problems with programs like Repligo, slovoed, isilo and mobipocket because sometimes the bar is overlaped and neither the buttons close/Ok appear nor somes menus. I´m medical student and my entire life deppends of my readers and dicts, unfortunately ther´s too little upgrades of their so ¿Can I customize the menu bar and put it in the normal position? Please help me.
I'd like too much your room, I´ve tried about 10 and 4me this is the best.

I am working with the 6.5.3 1.03B ROM and had a question. Where the heck is the task manager? I must be having a doofus moment as I can't find it. With my previously loaded ROM (6.5 v1.00 TP) I would run out of memory if I ran Opera Mobile 10 beta 1 or the latest version of SkyFire. Has anyone seen this? Literally, after a reset, task manager would show around 70% memory used. If I ran Opera or SkyFire it would balloon to 99%. If anything else was running beforehand it would say there isn't enough memory to run. IE runs just fine.

Anyway, I wanted to test this ROM with Opera and Skyfire but can't find task manager. Thanks!

Hold down left arrow for a few seconds. Then hold down on the app that you want to close then chose desktop once your done.

The taskmanager is called task facade. Google it for more details.

I have 2 TP's one mine and one I gave to my wife. I used this ROM and really liked it. When I gave it to my wife she preferred it over SKI's MaxDusk ROM but I wanted to update to 2.5 sense. I hate to compare ROM's because each has their own things that make them unique. Your ROM is nice and stable, something that is great because it is for my wife, who needs everything that she uses to just work. Great Work...
