You can update your internet profile
You can reset your data profile under ##rtn#
You can check you have 1 under your profile in ##data#....
Anyway just report back, good luck

Yeah when sprint said it would go back to factory i knew they had to be wrong but just said ok and left. Came back an hour later, got my phone after they did a hard reset and all was working and YES the NEW rom was still there as i figured it would be. Things seem to be working fine now, still not sure why my internet got lost and Sprint had no ideas either, thus the reason they ended up having to resort to a hard reset.

Can you explain more please about the items you listed about profiles, etc.?

when ever you hard reset a phone it erases everything and reinstalls/reflashes the current rom that is on it. It is impossible for it to go back to a previous rom without you reflashing it. It is very highly suggested around here to ALWAYS do a hard reset after flashing a rom.

You could have just done what i or HB suggested instead of taking it back to sprint. It's a fairly common problem that you experienced that is easily fixed.

Tried the rom the other day....it was pretty good and faster then the orig rom things were looking good that day I was pretty....pretty....happy ....but the next morning, holy $@#$ it was very very slow lag was just crazy 10sec or so, screen was getting all freaky land/port mode...it was plain bad after a reset it sort of went back to normal I did not want to deal with a half fast rom update....so I went back to custom.

With Palm it was: copy everything off the card, execute a quick format, copy the files to the card, push the card in to the slot and off it went.

The files of interest would they be PPST_090522_HermannC_2.34_delta.sa.CAB and RUU_signed.rbh?

Thank you.

I must've missed something. i read this thread and i can't find where the files extract to after i run the .exe i get from the HTC site. I can't use activesync. is there a place where i can get these files?

extract the exe with WinRAR or similar, to wherever you want. Then you'll have all the files.

Mucho thanks. I can't believe I didn't try to use winrar/winace to extract the exe.
