Been runnin' the ROM for a few hours now and am still lovin' the hell out of it! After all my tweaking I'm at 44% fresh after reboot. That's about usual for me with most ROMs. I can't tell how battery life is yet. I imagine it will be comparable to most other roms running the same build.

Thanks for the post. Your suggestions did help (especially the start menu stuff), but the clock one didn't do exactly what I wanted - to have the clock start in the small mode by default. It did help get rid of the sprint logo (mostly) tho. But ultimately I decided for the way I use my phone I'm just too used to the old WM6.1 OS, so I just reflashed to the new HTC MR ROM. I did like some of the polish of 6.5, but some things (like the new text interface of TF3d) was just too painful to use compared to the old one. Perhaps I'll give it another go once the damn thing is finally out of beta...

I just noticed that the "X" button is no longer closing programs; it's only minimizing them. I thought it had been closing them when I first flashed... I'm so confused. Does the "X" button close programs? I thought it did in build 23053. If it does then I gotta go through the list and see what I did wrong where... :(

Not too sure how to fix the notification from popping up at startup but I do plan on removing it from 1.06 unless everyone really wants it built in. With the new 6.5.1 notifications there is no real need for it.

For me at least the pictures only take a second or two to load up the first time I open it and after that it seems to go fine.

The send button should have been fixed during 1.04. Personally I have the send icon on mine. I'm wondering maybe if the htc logo in the start bar caused this? Did you check at all before you added the logo?

the button only edits two image files which are both a windows logo...

files edited are:
classicblue_bubble_flag.png
classicblue_bubble_flag_disabled.png

im pretty sure wasn't there even before my altering of those two images.

this rom is freaking fast! you gonna upgrade to 23060?

EDIT: also, can i use 6.5 icons for the taskbar, or will i mess things up? id prefer other icons or at least the stock ones

Custom taskbars will actually mess up the softkeys in the newest sys.
The only way i could get my send button back was to take out my taskbar.

BTW zombie can i use that htc logo in my rom, it looks slick man.

well with the new found info from bike it was my gadgetrom taskbar that took away my send button. but with your taskbar you included my EV is still a white "E".
