Sorry bro I din't follow up after I reccomended some of those things awhile back. I am not currently running this ROM( I ran the test rom and will try the new release when a generic is released without Sprint aps) so I haven't been jumping into the thread, but have had the battery issues with EVERY custom ROM I have used, oh wait even the stock one. I like this ROM and the fixes worked for me. The custom ROM I run 99% of the time gets grief over the battery life daily but those steps keep the users running it after they are set up. I hope other users of this ROM will have the same luck as well.

There is a newer edition (1.8) of CleanRAM btw that works even better and can be set up to work and be more user friendly with S2U2. Another thing to try in attempt to stop your freezing issue (common with all the new MS 6.5.1 builds) is a fix another user of another WM 6.5.1 ROM has found. Search for user winmonewbie & showcase and you will get his findings ( I say his) for a fix using Showcase & the results found with another custom ROM that users had freezing issues with. Using a specific showcase edition and setting it up correctly can eliminate the freezing caused by newer MS builds. I am not sure if it will clear up the freeze issues you are having but it is worth a shot.

okay thanks the rom its workin fine now.. that i install the maxx battery saving cab and the clean ram its all good now .. but idk the signal sucks ..well in some parts the signal drops n then i have full signal idk its crazy its there anyway i can fix this ... any cab or anything .. i mean its working good but i jux dnt want to have low signal ??

Go ahead, you know ya wanna........

First after flashing a custom ROM, dial *228 and update your service, this often helps signal issues. If this doesn't help your signal, try flashing a new radio. Radio performance is deterimental to the battery performance so you want a good signal. Go to the radio thread (stickied in CDMA TP Upgrade forum) and read all about flashing new radios. Try several to find the best one for your device & location. Another thing....did ya ever figure Lumos out? Sorry for the response delay I am new to this ROM scene and only hop in when I got time. The light sensor is in the earpeice BTW. You have to run the wizard and cover& point light directly at the light sensor to calibrate correctly.

It was made using Calks kitchen, I didnt change much aside from the sys goodies and stuff.

Hey guys, quick question. Anyone know if there is a cab or a way to go back to the "oem stock" style of text messaging on this ROM? The manilla style that's in this seems to get confused sometimes whether I'm trying to send an email or text. Thanks in advance!

Ok, I don't like COM5 23502. The supposed volume control improvements are minor. I'm not even sure what's better. But you lose the bounce back when you scroll on a list (ok, not a huge deal) but I just discovered on a menu that there was no kinetic scroll at all. I had to keep moving with my thumb and dude, that's a recipe for pain. I really hope MS puts that back in cause that's a deal breaker for me.

I went on a ROM flashing spree last night because my ROM got tweaked. Basically, I changed the theme and then started having troubles with the screen smearing when I scrolled (only the MS Start sections). I was eventually able to get that to go away by trying different themes but the phone was not happy after that. Just not stable and text messaging was horrible. I decided since I had to wipe out and start over anyway, I'd try the latest and greatest. As I stated above, I did not like the 23502. I also went ahead and tried 23081 and didn't like it either. The scrolling is just different from 23420.

But, I would really like to thank the author of this ROM. It is really a good one and after trying some others I am even more impressed. I Know you have a TP2, but if you can, keep this ROM alive.
