I have the same problem screen goes nuts every once and while, color lines through it . I thought it was a bad phone but nope it is the rom still like this rom hope this gets fixed soon.

Though everything was fine.. clear storage...format NAND.. new download. Installed all my apps fine. Changed my ringer. Then I tried to set up my sliding sound and the phone froze. Waited an hour. Finally had to soft reset and now its on the radio screen for 10 minutes. If I take the battery out it will do the same hard reset its been doing. WTF!

Hello I have been running the 071 rom since it came out and have had no problems I am on sprint I would sugjest that you flash back to the stock rom then do I clear storage or wipe device then reflash to the rom after flash do a clear storage do I soft reset and then start to add whatever programs you load up one at a time to see if that is what is causing your problems.
I have ran all the roms that he put out and have ran great for me just be sure to redownload the rom to be sure that you get a good download without issues if I can help more let me know I also use a program called clean ram that I have set up to run every day that helps here is the cab of you don't have it

i definitely just reflashed to the stock rom and then ran clear storage. I then reflashed to this rom and it's still doing it.

You are not trying to install a cab called nuekblight or the nuepower cab by chance? When I tried to install those cabs on 6.5 roms I was getting that same effect that you are talking about I just don't install them they don't play well with 6.5

Alright everyone that is having issues can you please post screenshots and possibly tell me exactly what you've installed (everything!) this will be the quickest way to get to the root of the problem. Also please explain if you've restored a backup and what software you used, because if you restore a backup that was from an earlier rom, it will overwrite everything in the rom and screw everything up. Also explain what you were doing when the error/glitch occured (opening a certain program, receiving a text message, etc) So please help me help you.

Also if anyone could post screenshots of how the 071 rom looks when you first flash it that'd be great. So I can update the pictures on the first page. I'm also going to be releasing a standard 6.5 build (without the bigger taskbar at the bottom) momentarily. Thank you all for your patience and I know this is really frustrating for you. I'm doing my best to help out

the only flashlight on my phone is the one that comes in the ROM (htorchlight or w/e)

I can't post screen shots but i can describe exactly... I do not install ANYTHING additional to your ROM. I flash just the rom, that is all.

What will happen is the device's screen will power off due to inactivity or me pressing the power button to turn it off, then when i hit the button again to do something the screen is all multi colored bars. This is the closest representation i can come across, but it's much more pronounced. You can't see anything on the screen. it's all different lines of color, and they appear to be moving around as well.

I have tried everything I can think of, I even flashed back to stock, then cleared storage, and then reflashed but to no avail. Still same problem exists. I hope it gets found and fixed, because I LOVE the looks / feel of this ROM when it works.

Justed flashed today back to stock then to 071 rom way better results still have not seen the corrupt screens and phone has not locked up!!! Excellent improvement with the htccleaner cab.

Alright I'll look into the screen scramble, which build is the one with the issue?
