I was wondering if you use Caulks kitchen and his ROMs seem to be better on battery than yours. I like yours but i cant seem to get good battery life no matter what i tweak. Can you explain why it eats the battery?

It would be extremely difficult to troubleshoot your battery issues with really no information. Personally my battery life has been exceptional. Being in an area with poor reception, even for half an hour, will do it every time. It could be data usage, a dying battery, application you have installed, etc.

Im getting about 10-11 hours of battery life with a lot of texts, some mms, a little surfing, and a couple phone calls. Ive used roms with much worse battery life.

I have used other ROMS with worst battery as well but i do notice a difference between Caulks and this one but again it is out of the same kitchen. I like it so dont get me wrong. I like the eye candy.

so far for me, this is the ROM of choice. thanks. I suppose my only request would be to cook in MS MyPhone. And maybe total commander, but otherwise i dont add anything else to this one. good stuff

Isn't MyPhone and Total commander in there? total commander should be in sys tools, and myphone should be in settings somewhere.

Yeah the only thing I could think of is I use a lowest compression for all the pngs so they look sexier. (hence bigger filesize) bow chicka bow wow.

which rom date are you on? I've never experienced this messaging issue, but it's not unheard of.

I love your SIG, lol! awesome. I noticed this bug too, I'm thinking it seemed to happen the more I edited the manila files... So I'm considering rolling back to just the default 2.1 manila without all the sexy colors.

EDIT: Have you ever backed up your contacts using PHM/pim Backup? I remember there was some bug with it and tf3d2.1 I think
