Hey everyone, just letting you know I haven't abandoned you guys, I'm working on some stuff. If it pans out right and hspl for tp2 gets released, I can atleast test these new packages and graphics on my tp2 then stuff them into roms for you guys!

okay this rom its one of the best roms out there please keep updating .. but there is some bugs or i dnt really know what is it .. ok i charged it the whole night yesterday and i woke up n the phone alarm was ringin well it was on vibrate .. so it keep vibrating n the battery life drop from 100 % to 35 % n i had to go to work n it really suck without battery. I notice while i was at work my phone turn off n turn it back on and i had 9 % battery ..n i didnt even use it or anything ........

My friend had a charger and i charge it for a lil bit bout 30 min and the battery was in 50 % and it took a while to die .. n i was surprise but im not really sure what may be the cause of this batter problem is it the program fast charge ...?? is it going to be doing this everytime my alarm goes on ?? or is it a bug .. ?? or idk lol
oh yea and also when i charge it the icon charging appears and then when i disconnect the charger the icon it still there ..after i disconnect it i guess its a bug or something.

can you please fix all this battery thing or tell me what im doing wrong ..because man this rom its BADASS LOL sorry for bad language

I don't think this is ROM specfic. I am no pro but after trying out a few of the custom ROMs with fast charge I have saw issues similar to yours. I would reccomend resetting your battery first. Several ways to do this, each has it's following. Let the battery run down to shut off, charge 10 min with device off, hard reset & then allow to charge fully and then some. Others say just to thow the phone in bootloader to make the battery drain out quickly, then charge with the device off until fully charged. Search the topic for more detailed low down.

Once you have the battery reset I would reccomend NOT using fast charge overnight or at all if you keep having such arrant issue. I have read about several other users having lockup issues and fast battery discharge and fast charge always seemed to be a culprit. I couldn't tell from your post but was your alarm set and never made noise, just vibrated, you never heard it so the battery took a hit? That is actually a WM bug saw in many custom roms using the newer MS builds. A way around this is to use G Alarm (older ones are freeware and work great) it bypasses the WM alarm and works every time for me. Could be you are experiancing issues from both.

To also save some battery check out an ap called Lumos and Maxxs battery saving cab. I use both of these with any ROM I run and it improves battery life a ton.

ok i guess im the only one writing here..okay well i install lumos and maxx battery saving cab and i also disable fast charge .. and the phone baterry life its WOW amazing ..This rom its great keep the good work .. and keep fixing minor bugs like the rom kinda freezes like not a lot just a lil bit i guess because i have a lot of programs open but sometimes it gets outta hand and i have to reset the phone but its all good ..

I'm using the newest test version, and it's pretty solid. little glitches i've learned to avoid or work around. If this gets discontinued I'd ask you guys to let me know where you go. I need (want) the newer Windows build as I like the icons and start menu a lot. I'm pretty much stuck with a Pro for awhile as I Just got it a few months ago.

But hopefully this ROM will stay alive as it's very visually impressive.

I've been running the 23420 build and it has been awesome.... up until today. All of a sudden I can't send text messages (error 96) and I can't use "update profile" either. Any ideas? Thanks in advance...

I have been running this version as well and have had no issues if you are using sprint then I would sugjest that you try to install the dcd carrier cab attached and see if it helps

I wonder what's causing the volume control glitch. Each time I reset my device, I run a volume control program that overrides the default one and makes it finger friendly - great to have but kinda sucks to have to run it each time the device starts up anew.

What volume program are you using? The default MS is driving me nuts, but reading some more on the COM5 build, it takes out kinetic flow on some stuff which is not cool.

Sorry bro I din't follow up after I reccomended some of those things awhile back. I am not currently running this ROM( I ran the test rom and will try the new release when a generic is released without Sprint aps) so I haven't been jumping into the thread, but have had the battery issues with EVERY custom ROM I have used, oh wait even the stock one. I like this ROM and the fixes worked for me. The custom ROM I run 99% of the time gets grief over the battery life daily but those steps keep the users running it after they are set up. I hope other users of this ROM will have the same luck as well.

There is a newer edition (1.8) of CleanRAM btw that works even better and can be set up to work and be more user friendly with S2U2. Another thing to try in attempt to stop your freezing issue (common with all the new MS 6.5.1 builds) is a fix another user of another WM 6.5.1 ROM has found. Search for user winmonewbie & showcase and you will get his findings ( I say his) for a fix using Showcase & the results found with another custom ROM that users had freezing issues with. Using a specific showcase edition and setting it up correctly can eliminate the freezing caused by newer MS builds. I am not sure if it will clear up the freeze issues you are having but it is worth a shot.

okay thanks the rom its workin fine now.. that i install the maxx battery saving cab and the clean ram its all good now .. but idk the signal sucks ..well in some parts the signal drops n then i have full signal idk its crazy its there anyway i can fix this ... any cab or anything .. i mean its working good but i jux dnt want to have low signal ??

Go ahead, you know ya wanna........

First after flashing a custom ROM, dial *228 and update your service, this often helps signal issues. If this doesn't help your signal, try flashing a new radio. Radio performance is deterimental to the battery performance so you want a good signal. Go to the radio thread (stickied in CDMA TP Upgrade forum) and read all about flashing new radios. Try several to find the best one for your device & location. Another thing....did ya ever figure Lumos out? Sorry for the response delay I am new to this ROM scene and only hop in when I got time. The light sensor is in the earpeice BTW. You have to run the wizard and cover& point light directly at the light sensor to calibrate correctly.

Hey guys, quick question. Anyone know if there is a cab or a way to go back to the "oem stock" style of text messaging on this ROM? The manilla style that's in this seems to get confused sometimes whether I'm trying to send an email or text. Thanks in advance!

Ok, I don't like COM5 23502. The supposed volume control improvements are minor. I'm not even sure what's better. But you lose the bounce back when you scroll on a list (ok, not a huge deal) but I just discovered on a menu that there was no kinetic scroll at all. I had to keep moving with my thumb and dude, that's a recipe for pain. I really hope MS puts that back in cause that's a deal breaker for me.

I went on a ROM flashing spree last night because my ROM got tweaked. Basically, I changed the theme and then started having troubles with the screen smearing when I scrolled (only the MS Start sections). I was eventually able to get that to go away by trying different themes but the phone was not happy after that. Just not stable and text messaging was horrible. I decided since I had to wipe out and start over anyway, I'd try the latest and greatest. As I stated above, I did not like the 23502. I also went ahead and tried 23081 and didn't like it either. The scrolling is just different from 23420.

But, I would really like to thank the author of this ROM. It is really a good one and after trying some others I am even more impressed. I Know you have a TP2, but if you can, keep this ROM alive.

Thanks for the cab, but unfortunately it didn't work. After digging a littler deeper, I noticed that there isn't a SMS.exe in the Windows folder. I'm wondering if this may have something to do with it...

I'm torn. the Longhorn ROMs look good to me, but the scrolling seemed different and I didn't like it. NRG looks good but (correct me if I'm wrong) he puts the legacy start bar on it and I like the new style.

Indiagroove just came out with some new ones and I'm tempted to try those.

I wish chazybaz hadn't upgraded. I looked at a touch pro 2 the other day and I don't want to give up my dpad or my LED.

I'm using the Sense 2.5 ROM right now. It's excellent so far. I had to flash stock first, after that it's been really nice, stable, and fast! I used this ROM for a bit and it's a great ROM. I'm just waiting for some of the "kinks" to get worked out and I'm sure I'll give it another try. :)

Does anyone have bluetooth working? Running this on a Sprint Touch Pro and I can not get bluetooth to connect to anything! Any fix for this?
