Anyone else experiencing this? I wonder if it's just me?

Can you take confirm that your "received" button in outlook (in top right corner) works fine as well? I've done a hard reset with nothing installed and i still get the problem.

I am experiencing a 'Audio' freeze as well while playing Videos per the Core Player - it seems after 2-3 minutes - the video will keep playing, but I have to 'pause' and 'un-pause' the player to get audio to resume.

Any suggestions? Anyone else experiencing this?

As promised.

Ph33zy - see screen 3. is that what your talking about.

I had to reflash the offical silence release for these screens (usaslly run a custom built in this kitchen) so my config is not set up yet.

I think you clicked on inbox. If you click on received, it should bring up junk...well in my case it does..

I think anything that uses the top curtain brings up junk. The bottom one is fine...

Anyone else try to load a PRL on their phone? I have the DCD Sprint carrier cab loaded to enable the ## codes. When I go through the process of loading the PRL, enter MSL, pick file ok, then ok, then hit yes... it just cuts the phone off and doesn't finish. You hit power and turns back on and you have the same PRL.

The side ways texting is killing me.. sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I tried the gyrator thing but that's just annoying...as it makes the phone flip the screen more than the texting.

I hate to abandon this ROM as I love it...but the PRL and the sideways texting has got the best of me for now. Probably reflash when I have time at work later this week.

I had the same problem, but I changed the theme in the control panel from what I had to the carbon one and the problems went away. The menus now look normal and the lag disappeared. I can't really explain why it worked, but it did for me.

This thread has been re-opened to accommodate users who are currently running the SilenceROM.

Unfortunately, we do not have download links for Silence's ROM, so we ask the users who currently have them to mirror them if possible.

Please keep all unrelated chatter to yourselves as for respect to Silence. We do not want to clutter the thread.

1/3 threads have been re-opened for the time being.

Thank you!

This fixed my copy and paste menus as well. It still doesn't fix my drop down menu in outlook when I try to click on the "Received" button in the top right corner though.

Same for me. However, when going back to "Dark Forest" my task bars are now an ugly gray instead of black...:(

Never mind, I fixed it by changing to another theme and then back again to acquire the black task bars...

my phone has been acting very funny. i am using the final build of silence's rom. i have noticed that while pugged into the car charger my phone isnt charging but it has the "plugin" icon showing that it is. the only way to get a charge is through the wall plugin. i have reflashed, flashed to stock then reflashed, soft re-set, hard re-set. i even unchecked the box tha says'do not charge when phone is connected to pc' i have searched this thread to no avail, please does anyone else have this issue and can we get a fix for this.

I'm having the text message portrait/landscape issue too. I tried reflashing and doing a hard reset and it's still happening. Unfortunately, this is a deal breaker. I text too much to try to look at the screen sideways while using the hardware keyboard. I'm having things lock up randomly too. I think the last rom was better than this one, no offense Siley, I'm definitely thankful for what you do!

I'm having this issue also, but it only seems to happen the first time I open SMS or bring focus back to SMS. If SMS is already in focus, it's fine.

Not sre if this has been covered yet... but on the previous Silence ROM's the home button (hard key) had shown up in the list assignable keys. Now I only happen to see one in there. Is there a reg tweak that will make the home key (and others) show up in the list so it can be assigned to an action/app?

I'd like this too. It was nice having a hardware button mapped to the camera on the last ROM. Does anyone else's camera seem a little laggy? It seems to snap pictures a little slower than the last ROM.

Great ROM otherwise! I'm loving Gmail push too! Just applied it today and already my battery life has seemed to improve.

First, thanks for this ROM, definitely quality work.

Second, is there any way to make the Start menu arrangeable? I can put the programs I use most in a separate folder but I'd like to avoid the extra screen. I know the consensus was the dimmer menu but I'm hoping to can change if it's not too in depth.

Third, I use WKTask and Opera is always running in the back round so it's always in my task bar. I checked the normal spot in the registry to stop it but it's not there. Anyone know where it is?

Last, thank the first post so we can get this kitchen, got an itch to customize. And thanks again for the ROM, Silence.

Great ROM and the dark forest theme looks amazing! Only small problem ive been having is that scrolling up or down in the start menu is kind of sclow on My Alltel TP.

First glad your enjoying the rom.
Second, you can click and hold and then reagane the start menu items. Silence worked his magic and made both work
Third, exit opera by clicking menu and exit.
lastly, you can get the kitchen by donating to silence. show your support.

Has anyone else noticed that in ANY ROM you flash with the new Manilla, there is a typo in one of the main screens?

When looking at a contact (card), the name is Firstname (space) Lastname. When looking at the Email history, Call history, and Updates and Events pages of the new contact view it is the same. Firstname (space) Lastname. Not so with the text message history. No space. FirstnameLastname.

Quick. Be the first to fix it!

Here's a screen shot of My Location weather - I am in Bethesda, MD and not San Pedro Sula, Honduras...I've soft reset many times. Removed all the other cities I had, and have commuted around the area and it is still picking up this location - not sure what else to do? I have been running this ROM for the past week with only some very minor issues. I hate to have to hard reset...

I get that - but no matter where I go it seems to only be giving me my location weather in San Pedro Sula. So while I can add my cities, I still cannot change the weather based on my current location...unless I move to Honduras.

Is GPS working in Google Maps? It uses the GoogleAPI to determine your location, so if GoogleMaps isn't working that could be part of your problem.
