Here's my new WM 6.5 Sprint TP ROM -- CE OS 5.2.21869 (Build 21869.5.0.82). This ROM is build with the new 6.5 Native Kernel, along with several new system packages from Leo, Tachi, Qilin, Whitestone, and Rhodium leaked and test ROMs.

Manila 2.1 is included in this rom, but Titanium is enabled by default. To enable Manila, go to Start>Settings>Today, and select TouchFlo 3D.

You can reskin the HTC dialer back to black or white with the attached cabs here.

Download indagroove's Sprint TouchPro ROM here

----------------------------------------------------------------------

This ROM is Sashimi compliant.

Although this ROM is made for Sprint users, it should work fine on any CDMA TouchPro.

Can anyone get Pandora to work on this ROM? The last several builds it seems gives debug assertion errors...tried the hard reset option and only installing pandora and still nothing..even with updated cab files. I am wondering if its a program installed as part of his rom. Any way to get a bare bones ROM without all the programs so that i can troubleshoot this?

how do you make the menus smaller? it seems that the default system text is huge. things like the menus only show like 3 options at a time before you have to scroll, the today screen plugins have to be scrolled to show even more than one, stuff like that. i tried reducing the screen text, but that doesn't seem to have any effect on the menus and anything else in the system.

also, i like the dark onscreen keyboards, but is there any cab to install the larger diamond black keypad?

hmmm... what else... i think that's it for now. OHHh, htc volume control.

I didn't notice any double tapping issues myself, but I'm running a new build with com2 build 21854. I like this tree better myself, and I'll try to get the rom uploaded today.

I just found one issue -- I forgot to include .net cf 3.5, so some apps aren't working. You can cab install, but I'm gonna fix it and do a build with the just released 6.5 NK for TP.

so funny you say this, i was trying to use adv. config app but got the"error" i thought" no way a custom rom doesnt have net" lol. i put 3.7 on just to be sure and fixed the issue. very funny though.

I got used to MS adding .net 3.5 to the COM3 sys' that I forgot they didn't include in in the COM2 tree yet. That's all been fixed though, and the rom now has .net 3.5.

Any chance of doing a 23047 build again? It took me a little while to get used to it, but I'm liking it more and more.

Also, where did you find the T-Mobile 6.5.x theme? I searched a bit but couldn't find it.

Just slow down a bit.

Plus 23047 is crap to use on an everyday basis still.

Re: indagroove's Sprint TP ROM - CE OS 5.2.21854 (Build 21854.5.0.80) - 6.5 Native Ke

Well, from my own daily use, I haven't had any issues with 23047. In my opinion 23017 is probably one of the most stable of the 6.5 builds.

23047 is very good, and easily usable for daily use. Of course it's all opinion. :) Plus, I really liked his last build, which was 23047. It ran very well. I also love having cutting edge. No one around me has even seen anything close to the work these chefs are cooking up. People who have a Touch Pro see mine, and get jealous! LOL

IMO, COM2 builds are and have always been the fastest, most stable sys builds. COM3/4 have potential though.

How so? nothing wrong with 23047 although I have yet to try indagrooves version. saying it is crap is pretty harsh with no examples why.

I am not trying to argue. I am just saying based on heavy use, specifically multi-tasking WHILE on the phone for a while hits the device hard. 23047 definitely showed its limitation, but who knows these things may be general annoyance for you.

With that said I am not sure if I will use another ROM without a native kernel, the difference in performance is fairly vast.

After a weekend of beating up this ROM, I like it. Its very stable. I like the bigger buttons, and its smooth. This is truely a finger friendly ROM. Tight work!
