Sharkie, did you try to cook in kimi's messaging mod at all? I get the darn "SIM card not ready" message. I even added the registry entry for CDMA.

I did cook it in and it works fine for me. I can take a look at my messaging regedits when I got home later and see exactly what I have going on.

I had TMartins 2.1-like messaging package cooked in when i had used kimi's cab to try out his mod and i didnt get that message. Now I have tried cooking in just kimi's mod and i get that message. I tried the reg edit and i have the CDMA SMS fix in my kitchen already but still get the message. Thanks for your help.

Haha, suuure, blame me :p I hope the swap was free for you!

Anyways, best of luck to you and your new TP2. It really sucks that the number of dedicated TP1 users are dwindling, but it is slowly but surely getting dated.

Once Android becomes more stable and what not running on the TP1, I might swap over...I'm stuck with my phone for at least another 1.5 years.

That awesome! Glad to hear you're back to work. Things in TP2 land aren't much different than things here in TP land...slow. With the EVO launching this week a lot of the big names are focused on that now. With the end of WM drawing near there's just not a whole lot of new stuff going out there. But I'm still learning. Been using a variation of a Calk's kitchen. I've grown to prefer it to RZs.

Anyway, I'm still a subscriber here as this is where it all started for me, so lemme know if there's anything I can do. :)
